Create a robot by assembling various parts on the frame.
Pick a game mode to set your robot against computer opponents.
During a fight, your robot is completely autonomous, as is your opponents’.
You cannot actually control your robot to win.
It must have a design that puts it to an advantage against its opponent.
The robots will autonomously move toward each other until one of them loses all their hit points.
After a few seconds, the walls of the arena will start to close in.
The robot that makes contact with the spinning blades on the wall is destroyed.
The winning robot is the one that outlasts its opponent.
You will receive money for every robot you defeat.
The more robots you defeat, the higher your payout in either game mode.
Your web browser saves the number of times you’ve won in either game mode.
In versus mode, your robot is pitted against opponents one by one.
You have the choice between quitting and upgrading your robot or challenging another robot for a higher payout.
In quick fight mode, your task is to defeat waves of opponents for as long as you can.
After one fight ends, another one begins. Your robots’ hit points will be restored.
This mode ends only when your robot is defeated.
Customizing your robot is simply a matter of dragging and dropping the parts.
You start with only a few parts unlocked. You must unlock more parts with the coins you’ve unlocked.
Try different combinations of weapons, frames, and wheel sizes to create a near-unstoppable fighting robot.
All frames can equip 2 weapons at a time.
You can unlock several types of weapons on the shop.
Each weapon costs 250 coins to unlock.
There are 3 basic types of weapons:
These attack the enemy robot constantly the moment they make contact.
The continuous weapons are as follows:
These weapons have a delay (interval) between each attack.
They tend to be more damaging when they do make contact.
The interval weapons are as follows:
These weapons push back the opponent and can, in the right situations, push your robot back up after flipping over.
They have an even slower fire rate than the interval weapons.
These include the following:
You can use any frame at the start of the game.
However, each frame have varying weight distributions.
Some are less stable when given weapons than others and must be counterbalanced.
Use larger or smaller wheels in the right spots to keep the robot’s balance.
There are 4 types of wheels that you can unlock.
Each wheel costs 100 coins to unlock.
Unlike the weapons, which are unlocked at random, wheels are unlocked when you select their icon.
Wheels allow the robot to move and also serve as a counterbalance mechanism for larger robots.
Avoid making your robot fall over.
Should you fall over, your robot may be in a position where your opponent can freely attack it.
Since you have no control over the robot, it must begin the challenge as stable as it can be from the get go.
Bigger isn’t always better:
Smaller machines can attack bigger ones unimpeded with most weapons.
Early on, machines with larger frames tend to be unstable and have a high probability of falling over. Smaller machines seldom have that problem.
Larger machines often have their weapons situated higher up where they can’t attack smaller opponents as effectively.
You need a continuous weapon to whittle away at your enemy’s hit points and an interval weapon to wear them down with large, powerful attacks.
Specializing might put you in a disadvantage in later fights.
