How to Play

Move both characters strategically across the squares of the same color to collect the circles matching their respective color.

• Starting the Game
  • The game loads directly to the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Single-player
      • Press the A key or the left arrow key to move left.
      • Press the D key or the right arrow key to move right.
      • Press the W key or the up arrow key to jump.
      • Press the Spacebar to switch between characters.
    • Two-player
      • First player
        • The first player is black.
          • Jump by pressing the up arrow key.
          • Move left by pressing the left arrow key.
          • Move right by pressing the right arrow key.
      • Second player
        • The second player is white.
          • Jump by pressing the W key.
          • Move left by pressing the A key.
          • Move right by pressing the D key.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • This game was designed for play primarily on desktop computers with connected keyboards.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the game has 3 buttons for sound control, level select, and restart level.
    • The current level number is shown right of the buttons.
    • Unlocked levels are shown in red on the level select screen, whereas locked levels are gray with an X over the button.

      • This is a collaborative collecting game where you alternatively move white and black characters around the screen with the goal of collecting the dots of the same color.
        • Players can play this game as a collaborative adventure and learn teamwork and problem solving.
        • Players can also play this game in single player mode, where they switch back and before between the two characters.

      • White character
        • can walk on white squares
        • turn white squares back after walking on them
        • can collect white dots
      • Black character
        • can walk on black squares
        • turn black squares white after walking on them
        • can collect black dots
      • Both characters
        • can stand on blue spots in the playing field
        • can stand on 2 adjacent squares that are overlapping
        • can hit gravity flipping switches

        • can move through red squares
        • can walk on squares of the opposite color as themselves
    • Movements
      • You can jump slightly more than one square up and around 3 squares across.
      • While you are inside a block it does not change colors, though as soon as you leave it changes color.
        • You can be inside 2 adjacent squares at the same time.
        • The tiles you are in are outlined in red.
      • If you are standing over a stack of same-colored blocks you can fall down many levels in a single move & do not have control over the descent.
        • You can climb while standing in between two columns so you change the colors of both columns at once.
        • You can jump across while you are falling to stop part way down.
    • Gravity switch
      • Some stages have one or more gravity switch in them which allows you to reverse gravity.
      • On some stages you have to use the gravity switches to reach remote parts of the level.
      • On some stages you can beat them without using the gravity switches, or while using only one of them instead of all of them.
      • Each gravity switch can only be used once on a playthrough of a level.
  • Levels
    • This game has 25 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay any previously beat level at any time
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a stage by collecting all the white and black dots with the characters of the same colors.
      • You lose a level if you are stuck and are unable to move the characters.
      • If you get stuck press the level reset button to restart the level.
      • The game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of the failed level.
  • Tips
    • Leave a way out
      • When you are making large falls all of the cells above you in the same column will change colors.
        • Be sure you have a horizontal path or another column to climb.
        • In some cases it can make sense to leave a square the opposing color to prevent long falls.
    • Narrow passages
      • If there is a narrow passage you will often need to have one of the two characters rest a row above or below the main passage, or have both characters pass each other in a blue square.
    • Mixed levels
      • Some stages have rather mixed tile colors which require a ton of backtracking.
      • One way to make the most out of mixed stages is to think of each character as existing to paint a path for the other character until you are able to paint wide swaths of the level.
    • Gravity switches
      • Try to complete as much of the level as you can before switching gravity, as you may not be able to get back to the current part of the level.
