How to Play

Operate fans and levers, break platforms, move obstacles out of the way & safely bring the boy floating with balloons to the exit atop the screen. Avoid getting the balloons popped or you’ll need to replay the stage.

• Starting the Game
  • Press the Start Game button on the welcome screen to start a new game.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and level ratings.
    • If you have played the game before there is a Continue button under the start button.
  • Beneath the Continue button there is a More Game button linking to other games.
  • The lower left corner of the welcome screen has buttons for music control and sound control.

  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button and drag to:
      • spin wheels controlling platforms to retract them or put them in motion
      • grab fans on rails and change their elevation
      • have fans suck or blow air
    • Use your mouse left click button to:
      • break wood platforms to allow balloons under it to fly up or a box above it to fall down
      • start the boy’s ascent
      • fire rockets
  • Touchscreen devices
    • This game was designed for play on desktop devices.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner has a level select button.
    • The current level is shown at the top center of the game.
    • The upper right corner has a level restart button.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a balloon flying obstacle course where you adjust the level layout by operating fans, breaking wooden planks, and spinning lever controls to open or close areas.
    • The goal is to rise to the top of the level through the exit as quick as possible.
  • Obstacles
    • This game features a variety of obstacles including spiked balls, bees, fire, and clouds with hail.
      • Shoot the spiked balls with a rocket, or get them to fly out of the way by sucking them to a side with a fan or get them to float up by removing a wooden board above them. You can also hit the spikes into each other’s balloon, causing them to pop & the spikes to fall.
      • Defeat the bees by enticing them to chase after you using a path where they have to pass through a fire and get burned.
      • The fire does not harm you directly, but can pop your balloons. Protect your balloons from the fire by going around the fire & ensuring the balloon nearest the fire has a box over it by destroying the wooden platform the box is resting on.
      • Use fans to suck or blow the hail clouds out of the way.
  • Levels
    • This game has 17 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    • You can go back and replay any of the previously beat levels by using the level select button in the upper left corner.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a stage by safely passing through the passage at the top.
        • Some stages require 2 balloons to win, whereas others can be completed with a single balloon.
      • You lose a level if both balloons pop, or if a level requires 2 balloons to pass and one of them pops.
        • This game offers unlimited continues.
        • If both balloons pop the level automatically restarts.
        • If you get stuck floating but unable to climb you’ll need to select the level restart button to restart the stage.
    • Star ratings
      • You can earn up to 3 stars on each stage based on how quickly you complete it.
      • If you earn lower than 3 stars you can go back to replay a previously competed level to try to earn a higher star rating on it.
  • Tips
    • Star ratings
      • If you earn less than 3 stars you can keep playing through other levels of the game and then come back to it.
    • Winning vs high score
      • If you are playing to win but are not playing for a star rating take your time, as the levels have no time limit.
      • You can always play faster on subsequent plays to try to improve your star rating after you figure out the best strategy for beating the level.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like flying path logic puzzle games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
