Meet the needs of the guests before they run out of patience.
Select a guest and drag them to a facility to satisfy their needs.
Until the final upgrade, Skye also serves the guests by herself. Some guests may need to wait before she can meet their needs.
When fully upgraded, facilities have an employee to help Skye, though you still need to drag the guests there.
Each time a guest leaves satisfied, they leave a positive review and a tip.
Tips add to your funds and let you improve your lodge.

Be mindful of guest patience
Guest have a limited amount of patience, indicated by the circle around them.
The circle starts off green, then rapidly turns red as time goes on.
The lower their patience, the lower their reviews.
When a guest’s patience runs out, you must bring them to the front desk so they can leave.
You can extend a guest’s patience through a water bottle from a fully upgraded front desk.
The water dispenser has a cooldown time, so you can’t really use this often.
Improvements and maintenance
Once you earn enough tips in a day, you can upgrade the venues of your lodge.
Upgrades are pricey. You won’t be able to afford more than one in the early game.
Each time you upgrade, you improve the capacity and appearance of the venue.
You can upgrade each facility up to 3 times.
On the third upgrade, you get a new employee to help you take care of things, which frees you up to take care of guests.

Guests (and Danielle)
There are 2 kinds of guests.
Standard guests are who you’ll normally encounter.
VIP guests arrive when the restaurant opens.
They have less patience than standard guests.
However, they give larger tips, so they’re worth prioritizing.
If you are running behind on guests serve the guests first and then pick up the coins.
While you slide a guest from location to location if you slide over coins you automatically pick them up.
Some guests have 2 demands.
They have a blue thought balloon that alternates between their 2 desires.
Meet either of those demands to satisfy them.
Guests with 2 demands are easier to serve when the lodge gets busy.
You can satisfy the demand that has more open slots.
Danielle is a nuisance.
You can tell Danielle apart from guests from the camera she carries around.
She will cause guests to lose patience if she overstays.
Move her to the front desk to get rid of her.
The front desk is where the guests arrive.
From here, move the guests to where they want to go.
Upgrading the front desk slows down their impatience.
These are where the guests stay.
An occupied room is marked with a do not enter sign.
Kaylee will attend the rooms in the final upgrade.
This is where you satisfy your guests’ thirst.
Noah will attend the bar in the final upgrade.
Available from Day 3 onwards.
This is a leisure area for guests.
Sean will attend the guests in the final upgrade.
This becomes available from Day 8 onward.
The restaurant satisfies the guests’ hunger and is a frequent destination for VIP guests.
Ben will attend diners in the final upgrade.
This is the end destination of guests.
When upgrading facilities it is important to upgrade them in parallel since the upgrade costs grow across rounds & you do not want one part of the hotel becoming a bottleneck.
Most facilities cost 100, 200, then 300 to upgrade.
The juice bar costs 35, 100 and 200 to upgrade.
It costs 3,335 to fully upgrade all facilities.
Sparkling bonus game
This minigame activates each time you send a guest to a sparkling area.
Place the items listed on the left to the container in the center.
The items and container vary between rooms. For instance, in a guest room, the items are towels and toiletries and the container is a dresser. At the juice bar the items are fruits & in the sports area are equipment to place in a backpack.
Avoid dragging any items that doesn’t belong. If you do, you fail the challenge.
You have 15 seconds to drag all the items in.
The faster you place the items in, the more money you get.
You can get from 5 to 15 coins depending on your speed.
There are 2 trophies to be won in each level.
The first, the expert trophy, involves reaching the tip and level goals for the day.
The time attack trophy involves beating the level before a specific time limit.
The time attack option only activates when you complete the level the first time. You must play each level at least twice to win both trophies.
After the third day you unlock the first minigame, which is a simple runner.
Use the down arrow key to duck under hanging items & the up arrow key to jump over lights on the ground.
Whenever you hit something your speed slows down & then you gradually accelerate toward top speed or until you bump into something again.
After completing the sixth day you unlock the second minigame, which is also a simple runner.
While running to retrieve an item (or bringing the item back to the table) rapidly tap the spacebar to run fast.
When you get to either table stop tapping & wait for the turn meter to show & tap to time the turn near the center of the meter to keep your momentum.
The game is suited for people of all ages who like time management games.
