How to Play

Drag and drop the animal described by the poem to the answer space.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • The game is narrated. We recommend leaving the game’s audio effects on for first-time players.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on the animal to select it, then drag and drop it to the answer circle.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the animal with your fingers and swipe to drag it to the answer circle.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Hamburger button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
    • Reset button: Gives you a new level to solve.
    • Music button: Turns the game’s music on and off
    • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sound effects on and off
• Game Play
  • The game’s question consists of a poem that ends with the question “what am I?”
    • The poem describes one of the three animals shown on the bottom row.
    • Wait till the poem finishes before picking up the animal from the bottom row.
  • Drag and drop the animal to the answer space to the left of the poem.
    • When you choose the correct animal, its name appears onscreen.
  • If you choose the right animal, you win the level.
    • Select Play on the win screen to load another level.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who are learning about animals and like playing reading games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
