How to Play

Swap places with the approaching enemies that look different from you. Take out enemies that are identical to you. Don’t let the enemy armies approach your grid.

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the lower right side to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
    • Select the enlarge button on the top left corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.

    • With your keyboard:
      • Use the up arrow to move up.
      • Use the down arrow to move down.
      • Use the left arrow to move left.
      • Use the right arrow to move right.
      • Use the space bar to perform an action.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the up and down arrows to move vertically.
      • Tap on the left and right arrows to move horizontally.
      • Tap on an action button to perform an action.
  • Gamepads
    • Press the up and down directional buttons to move vertically.
    • Press the left and right directional buttons to move horizontally.
    • Press the A button to perform an action.

  • Basic rules
    • Move around the 4 x 4 grid and approach an enemy.
    • When you are next to an enemy, you can perform one of 2 actions:
      • You can switch appearances with the enemy if they are different from you.
      • You can take out enemies that look identical to you.
      • If a row of enemies consists of several that look like you and one who doesn’t. You’ll take the place of the one enemy you don’t resemble but take out all the others.
    • Repeat the process for as long as you can.
    • The game’s timer lasts for 20 minutes.
      • The game will automatically end if you last that long.
      • Finishing the game by the end of the timer counts as a victory.
  • Enemies
    • Enemies approach from all 4 sides.
      • They start at the rows of square spaces four spaces away from the main grid.
      • Over time, they approach.
    • If five enemies spawn, they will hit the grid and you will lose a life.
  • Lives
    • You begin the game with 3 lives. These are represented by hearts on the top left corner of the screen.
      • Each time a row of enemies reaches the grid, you lose a life.
      • Lose all your lives and the game ends prematurely.
    • You can replenish your lives by picking up hearts.
      • Hearts are spawned at random.
      • You can have up to 9 hearts at any given time.
    • In the late game, the entire grid can be covered in hearts.
      • If you play well enough, you’d be gaining lives faster than you’ll be losing them.
      • Effectively, you become invincible for the remainder of the end game.
  • Scoring
    • You earn 1 point for every enemy defeated.
    • Your best score is updated in real time.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like row fighting strategy games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
