How to Play

As Mr. Apple, make your way through the level and reach the treasure chest. Collect apples and coins along the way. Walk toward the sign at the end to finish the level.

• Starting the Game
  • On the loading screen, left click or tap anywhere to bring up the welcome screen.
  • At the center of the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • On the center left edge are the following controls (top-down):
    • Select the enlarge button to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
    • Select the speaker button to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.
    • Select the music button to turn the game’s music on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your level progress and best score.
    • Your best score appears below the play button on the welcome screen. Select Hole Here to Reset ALL Your Progress to clear your previously saved game data. This cannot be undone.

  • Basic rules
    • Getting around
      • Jump from one platform to the next.
      • Double jump to hop onto tall platforms, cross chasms, and avoid various foes.
      • Walk to the treasure chest at the end of the level.
    • Objectives
      • Pick up the following items throughout the level:
        • Apples
        • Coins
        • The key
      • Reach the treasure chest with the key to open it.
      • Push barrels to serve as extra platforms to help you jump over obstacles you otherwise wouldn’t be able to clear on your own.
      • Finish the level by leaving through the sign at the other side.
    • Enemies and hazards
      • Hazards include pits and spikes. These are stationary.
      • Enemies are various monsters. They patrol a specific part of the level but do not chase you.
      • You have no lives in this game. Each time you fall off a pit or touch an enemy, it’s game over.
      • You must jump over enemies and hazards to avoid them.
    • When you finish or end the game, you have two options:
      • When you complete the level, left click or tap anywhere to load the next level.
      • When you end with a game over, you can start again by selecting the reset button.

    • There are 8 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Scoring
    • Each apple you collect is worth 5 points.
    • Each coin you collect is worth 20 points.
