How to Play

Select which of the 120 boards you would like to play and then match open identical stone pairs until you have cleared the board.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play button near the bottom of the screen to bring up the level select menu.
    • Your web browser automatically saves which level you have beat, what your score was, and how long it took you to beat each level.
  • To the right of the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, Highscores, and More games.
  • Above those buttons is a Submit score button. You can submit your score whenever you like.
  • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.
  • The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for game settings, social media sharing, and reading game developer information.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select an open stone & then select an identical open stone to pair them off.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select an open stone & then select an identical open stone to pair them off.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The right rail of the game contains the game controls.
      • At the top it shows your level number, current score, historical best score on the current level, play time, and historical best time on the current level.
      • Next there are buttons to take hints, shuffle the tiles, or pause the game.
      • At the bottom there are buttons for music control, sound control, and switching to full screen mode.
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have beat, your best play time on each level, and your score.
    • The welcome screen shows your cumulative game score.
• Game Play
  • Stone Matching
    • Identical
      • You can only match identical stones in this game.
        • A 2 of Spades can only be matched with a 2 of Spades.
        • Any Joker can match with any Joker even if they look different.
      • When you select a card it is highlighted in red on the board and is shown in the upper left corner of the screen.
        • When you select a second card if they are identical matches they are removed from the stack.
        • If the second card is not an identical match to the first card then the first card is deselected.
    • Free
      • Open stones are stones which do not have a stone on top of them and at least one side (left or right) is free of adjacent stones.
      • This game highlights open stones with a white background, whereas stones that are not free have a grayed out color.
      • You can only select free stones.
  • Levels
    • This game has 120 different levels which are all unlocked immediately when the game starts.
    • You can play the levels in any order.
      • As soon as you beat one level the game starts the next sequential level.
        • You can pause the game to bring up the pause menu, then go back to the menu or welcome screen to select a different level to play.
      • You can go back and replay levels you have already beat to try to earn a higher score on them.
        • Your new score will only replace the old score if you earn a higher score on the level.
    • Autoshuffle
      • If no valid matches remain on the board the game automatically shuffles the remaining tiles.
      • This means at least one valid match is available at all times until the level is cleared.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is cumulative across all levels.
    • You start each board with a score of 10,000.
      • Your score drops by 10 points every second that passes until you have completed the stack.
      • You must complete a game in under 16:40 seconds to earn a score above zero.
    • Assistance
      • Hints cost you 10 seconds or 100 points.
      • Manual tile shuffles cost you 20 seconds or 200 points.
  • Strategy
    • If you get stuck in the game consider looking one suit at a time to find matches and then do the other suit of that same color, then switch across to the two suits in the other color.
    • Try to work on the deepest columns and widest rows first to help open up the board.

  • The game has no adult themed content.
