Crazy Fishing Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Fish deep down in the sea and collect as many fish as you can on each cast. Purchase upgrades from the tackle shop to go deeper. Keep going down until you make it to the treasure.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center of the screen to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse:
      • Left click to drop the fishing line.
      • Left click and drag the fishing line to move.
      • Left click at the fish to shoot them.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Coins collected
      • Speaker button
    • Bottom left corner
      • Current and maximum depths of the fishing line
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Drop the line into the water.
    • As the line sinks, it will pass by fish of different size.
    • To catch a fish, move the hook end of the fishing line toward them.
      • The fishing line will automatically go if you catch a fish or reaches its limit.
      • Move the fishing line as it resurfaces to catch any of the fish you passed by.
      • We recommend letting the fishing line sink before bringing it up again.
        • You can catch more fish if you can move your line around longer before reaching the surface.
        • Larger (and subsequently more valuable) fish are also found in deeper water.
    • Once the line resurfaces, the fish will fly into the sky. Shoot down the fish by clicking or tapping on them before they fall back into the water.
  • Scoring and upgrades
    • You earn coins for every fish you successfully bring to the surface.
      • Fish start off at 2 coins and go up to 1,000.
        • Fish which are deeper are generally worth more.
        • Some smaller fish like starfish, seahorses, and the green sponge-type creature are worth decent amount.
        • The fish with a light in front of it is worth 1,000.
      • You must click on the fish to shoot them before they fall offscreen to get full credit for them.
    • You can use the coins to buy upgrades for your fishing line.
      • Open the shop screen by selecting the shop at the center right.
      • You can choose from the following types of upgrades:
        • Line length
          • you start off with 50 meters of depth
          • 100 meters costs 10
          • 300 meters costs 500
          • 500 meters costs 2,500
          • 1,000 meters costs 5,000
          • 1,300 meters costs 9,999
          • the longer line allows you to reach deeper, where there are higher valued fish & the treasure at the bottom
        • Line speed
          • booster mark 1 costs 200
          • booster mark 2 costs 500
          • booster mark 3 costs 800
          • booster mark 4 costs 1,800
          • booster mark 5 costs 2,500
          • your line speed moving faster allows you to get past fish & make it deeper into the sea to catch more valuable fish & eventually the treasure at the bottom of the sea
        • Shooting power
          • pistol is free
          • rifle costs 200
          • shotgun costs 800
          • autogun costs 1,800
          • sniper costs 4,500
          • better guns allow you to have a higher hit rate when you shoot at fish above ground
        • Conveniences
          • Lamp: Illuminates darker, deeper parts of the water to make it easier to see your way around and avoid fish
          • Battery: Shocks the first fish that come too close to the hook, which allows you to keep going deeper with your hook, as you would otherwise begin to reel in as soon as you get a bite
  • Game end
    • After you have purchased all of the upgrades the game is rather repetitive, as the goal at that point is not to catch fish but instead to evade the until you get to the bottom of the sea.
    • When you catch the treasure and bring it to the surface the game ends.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple fishing games.
    • In this game the cartoon cat reels in the cartoon fish too hard flinging them into the air, and then shoots guns at them.
    • The game may show cartoon blood when some of the fish are hit.
  • Other than the above, the game has no adult themed content.
