How to Play

Jump back and forth to stay in the screen as long as you can while avoiding running into any obstacles. Bounce off the walls if they are charged (or fall through the bottom of the screen back to the top) to buy time and get around obstacles which seemingly have you cornered.

• Starting the Game
  • Tap the play button in the center of the welcome screen to bring up the mode select screen.
    • The loading screen has buttons for sound control and music control at the top.
  • Select the icon of the game mode you would like to play on the mode select screen.

    • Keyboard
      • Press the left arrow key to jump up and left.
      • Press the right arrow key to jump up and right.
    • Mouse
      • Left click on the left side of the screen to jump up and left.
      • Left click on the right side of the screen to jump up and right.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the left side of the screen to jump up and left.
    • Tap the right side of the screen to jump up and right.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper right corner has a pause button.
      • When the game is paused an overview menu is shown with sound control, music control, return home, change screen colors (there are 4 different color schemes), and cycling between showing the background grid or not.
    • The mode select screen shows which of the challenges you have beat with a green X on the box underneath each of them.
    • When you lose a challenge mode or your regular game ends the game over screen shows your most recent score and all-time best score.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a simple jumping evasion game.
      • Jump up and to the side while avoiding all falling objects.
        • If any of the objects hit you it is game over.
        • Some objects fall straight down or at a slight angle, while others fall an undulating path.
    • Scoring
      • You score points based on how many objects you evade.
      • You can also score around 7 to 10 bonus points for each time you pass near an object or pass through gaps between two nearby obstacles.
    • Walls
      • You can bounce off a wall which is purple in color.
      • After bouncing off the wall it turns teal for a period of time, then turns back to purple.
      • If you bump into a teal wall it is like hitting an obstacle and it is game over.
    • Strategy
      • Unless you are playing a game challenge mode it is best to play rather low on the screen so you have plenty of time to react to new incoming obstacles.
      • If you do not want to move left or right while climbing & want to climb quickly you can alternate between tapping left and right rapidly & keep a fairly vertical path.
  • Game modes
    • The default version of this game is called classic endless mode. Games last until you run into a block.
    • The game also features 6 different challenges.
  • Challenges
    • Basics
      • This game keeps your best score earned for each challenge type.
      • If you exceed the goal you keep on playing until you eventually lose.
      • Each challenge mode provides another way to think through how to play the game & improve your skills for when you play in classic endless mode.
    • Destroy 18 objects which differ from the ordinary obstacles.
      • You must destroy 18 without any of the objects you need to destroy hitting the bottom of the screen.
      • If you run into an obstacle or hit a wall that is the color of obstacles your game is over.
    • Bounce off the walls 12 times.
      • You have to alternate which side you bounce off of.
      • As soon as you bounce off of one side you can then bounce off the other side, but if you hit the same side twice in a row or run into an obstacle it is game over.
    • Stay above the line for 22 seconds.
      • The screen is cut essentially in half & you have to stay in the top half of the screen.
      • Your game ends if you run into the middle line, hit a wall when it is teal, or run into an obstacle.
    • Long fall 12 times.
      • Long falls are falls where you fall about 2/3 the screen or more without touching a wall or running into an obstacle.
      • You lose if you run into an obstacle or hit a wall while it is teal.
    • Sprint 6 times.
      • Sprints show a series of 5 horizontal bars across the screen.
      • You must quickly pass through the bottom bar and each successive bar before any of them disappear.
      • When you pass through the top bar it qualifies as a sprint and the bar then moves again to the bottom for you to begin the next sprint.
      • If you miss any bar you start back at the first bottom bar.
      • You lose if you run into an obstacle or hit a wall while it is teal.
    • Tight jump 16 times.
      • Pass between two closely spaced obstacles to score a point.
      • You lose if you run into an obstacle or hit a wall while it is teal.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like quick tap evasion games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
