How to Play

Match the card pairs that form a complete addition equation.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Start below the game’s title to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on a card to select it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on a card with your fingers to select it/
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top left corner
      • Level
    • Bottom center (left to right):
      • Back button: Quits the game and returns you to the level selection screen
      • Home button: Returns you to the welcome screen
      • Reset button: Starts a new session without quitting the game
• Game Play
  • Level selection
    • Choose a level from the level selection screen to start.
    • Levels determine the value of the addends involved in the game. For instance, choosing 10+ will involve the number 10 in all of the equations.
    • All levels are available at the start of the game.
  • Basic rules
    • There are two types of cards in this game:
      • Addend cards show a pair of numbers and an addition symbol.
      • Sum cards contain a single number.
      • There are 5 pairs of these cards found onscreen.
    • Match pairs of cards that form an equation.
      • To attempt a match, select one card, then select another.
      • Selected cards will reveal the numbers and operation beneath them.
      • If the equation is valid, the cards remain face-up. Otherwise, they return to a face down position.
    • Finish pairing all the cards to win.
    • You can replay the same level or choose a new one.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like practicing addition or memory card games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
