How to Play

Form rows of 3 identical zombie tiles to clear them from the screen. Clear as many zombie tiles as you can within 120 seconds.

• Starting the Game
  • The game’s controls appear on tombstones on the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button on the center left to begin.
    • Select the information button on the bottom left corner to learn how to play the game.
    • Select the crown button below the play button to open the game’s rankings.
    • Select the gear button on the lower right corner to open the game’s audio sliders. Use these to change the volume of the game’s music and sound effects.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game stats and best score.

    • Tap on a zombie tile with your fingers and swipe to move it.

  • Basic rules
    • Move the zombie tiles to form rows of 3 or more of the same color.
      • You can only move a zombie tile one space at a time.
      • When it forms a row of 3 or more, it is removed from the screen.
      • New tiles fall in from above to take its place.
      • You can move tiles even if the move does not form a valid set of 3 or more.
      • You can also swap regular tile positions with power up tiles, so long as you select the regular tile first.
    • Unlike in other connect 3 games, when you move a zombie tile, it stays where you move it.
      • Done strategically, this can let you form much longer chains.
      • However, do not do it too often. Moving tiles is a time-consuming effort.
    • Activate power ups to clear even more tiles at once.
    • You only have 120 seconds to play the game.
      • Clear as many zombie tiles as you can in that span of time.
      • You can use power ups to slow down the timer.
  • Scoring
    • You earn 1 point for every tile you remove. The minimum number of points you can get per move is 3.
    • You can earn even more points by clearing several lines at once or by using power ups.
      • Combos act as multipliers. The second line you clear is worth twice the number of points, the third one thrice, and so on.
      • Activating several power ups at once can create a chain of cascading multiplier bonuses as more lines are formed.
    • You can view your best score using the crown button on the welcome screen.
  • Power ups
    • General
      • Unlike in other connect 3 games, power ups are randomly generated.
        • As they appear, you can activate them.
      • Power up tiles are unaffected by each other for the most part.
        • They will not be cleared by a power up that clears zombie tiles.
        • Explosive power ups will activate but not destroy power ups.
      • To activate a power up, just click or tap on it.
    • Explosive power ups
      • When selected, these power ups remove all the tiles within a limited radius.
      • The amount of tiles removed by these depends on their type:
        • Bombs remove all the bombs in a 1-tile radius but don’t take out the diagonals, forming a plus-shape.
        • Dynamites remove all the power ups within a 1-tile range including the diagonals, which leads to a square shape.
        • Nuclear waste takes out a square within 1 tile plus 4 more on the top, bottom, left, and right within 2 tiles.
        • Guns take out all the zombie tiles within a maximum of 3 columns in whichever direction it’s pointing.
      • These only affect zombie tiles. Any power up tiles will be spared or activated.
        • Axe and timer power ups will be left intact.
        • Pattern, eye, bone, and explosive power ups will be activated.
    • Eye and axe power ups
      • These power ups remove all zombies of a color from the screen instantly.
      • The eye power up removes all zombie tiles of the same color.
      • The axe power up lets you choose which zombie color you can take out.
      • They do not affect any other power up. The eye power ups can be affected by others, though.
    • Bone power ups
      • Bone power ups delete all the zombies in a row or column.
      • There are two bone power ups:
        • Cross bones remove all the zombies in a single row and a single column.
        • Single bones remove all the zombies in a row or column, depending on how it’s oriented.
      • Bone power ups will activate explosive, bone, and patter power ups when used.
    • Pattern power ups
      • Pattern power ups will remove zombie tiles in a pattern.
      • In effect, this power up removes several lines at once.
      • Any explosive, bone, or eye power ups they clear will be activated, as will any subsequent pattern power ups.
      • Shapes include H, Z, and a spiral inward.
    • Watch power up
      • The watch power up freezes time for 10 seconds.
      • Clear them immediately once you see them to lengthen your playing time.
  • Stats
    • Your game statistics keep track of the follow:
      • Most number of zombies removed
      • Most number of power ups used
      • Highest-valued combo
      • Highest score
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who celebrate Halloween or like match 3 games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
