How to Play

Protect Fortress Maximus from attacks and charge up its batteries with energon.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button on the botom right to begin.
  • On the top right is the gear button. Select this to open the following options:
    • Options tab
      • Music: Toggle the game’s background music
      • Sound: Toggle the game’s audio effects
    • How to Play
      • The tutorial slideshow will explain the basics of the game.
  • Your web browser will automatically save your high scores.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click anywhere on the screen to shoot.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap anywhere on the screen with your fingers to shoot.
• Game Play
  • Character selection
    • Choose from 4 different bodies and 4 different heads.
    • Each head and body combo belong to either an Autobot or a Decepticon.
    • Combine different heads together to change the characters’ statistics.
  • Protecting the base
    • The base will be besieged by both falling energon meteors and attacks sent by enemies.
    • Shoot down the projectiles as they fall down.
    • You have an upper limit to where you can shoot. If they fall below the limit line shown onscreen, you will not be able to shoot them.
      • It takes a while for your missiles to reach their target.
      • It’s often better to anticipate where the projectile might go and shoot there than to shoot where the projectile currently is.
      • The only exception is when the meteor is very close to the limit line and is close to the turrets. You can shoot it almost instantaneously.
    • Survive for as long as it takes to charge Fortress Maximus.
      • Fortress’ health is shown on the meter on the top center, along with your current score.
      • If you run out of hitpoints before Fortress is charged, the game is over.
      • If you hold out until Fortress is fully charged, you win the game.
  • Charging Fortress Maximus
    • To charge Fortress Maximus, collect cubes of energon.
    • They appear after you take out an energon meteor.
      • After you take out a meteor, a cube of energon.
      • Left click or tap on the cube to collect it.
    • Each time you collect a cube, you charge up Fortress Maximus’ energy reserves.
    • Fortress Maximus loses collected energy each time he gets hit.
  • Scoring
    • Each meteor you shoot is worth 50 points.
    • Each cube of energon you pick up is worth 25 points.
    • You gain a massive score bonus if you charge up Fortress Maximus.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for people of all ages who like simple logic puzzle games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
