How to Play

As a sumo wrestler, push off your opponents and consume as many pieces of sushi for as long as you can. Avoid being pushed off the stage.

• Starting the Game
  • On the bottom center of the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button to begin.
    • Select the t-shirt button to unlock and equip new accessories for your wrestler.
  • Select the speaker button on the top right corner of the welcome screen to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click, hold, and drag anywhere on the screen to move.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and swipe to move.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right)
    • Top left corner (top-down):
      • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Speaker button
    • Current score
    • Number of active players
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Move around the stage.
      • The sumo wrestler moves slowly.
      • You can see where the wrestler moves using the control pad.
      • Left click or tap on the control pad itself to move the wrestler with more precision.
    • Consume tamago sushi to increase your size.
    • The hexagonal plates that make up the stage fall off at random.
      • A plate that’s about to fall off will turn from blue to white.
      • The plate will fall down after a few seconds.
      • Move away from a white plate before
    • Watch out for the bumpers.
      • Hitting the bumpers will send you flying across the platform.
      • Bumpers will also cause you to
    • Defeat the other wrestlers by pushing them into the water.
      • You will recoil each time you push other wrestlers off. This is risky if you’re close to water or a white plate.
      • Make sure to push wresters when you’re either bigger than them or will be pushed away from water.
    • Pick up chests to gain new accessories.
    • On the game over screen are the following buttons:
      • Select the reset button to play again.
      • Select the home button to quit the game and return to the welcome screen.
      • Select the t-shirt button to open the customization screen.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points from the following actions:
      • Picking up sushi grants you 100 points.
      • Pushing your opponents off gives you a varying amount of points.
        • These are based on your size and the size of your opponents.
        • The bigger your opponents, the higher the score you get for beating them.
    • As you earn points, you grow in size.
    • Your current and previous best scores are shown at the center of the game over screen.
  • Customization
    • Collecting chests unlocks new accessories.
    • You can equip accessories to make your sumo wrestler stand out among the crowd.
    • Accessories are purely aesthetic. They do not contribute to your performance in the game.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple sumo wrestling games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
