How to Play

Move the colored blocks on the bottom row to match the oncoming stars.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best score.
    • Your best score is shown on the bottom center of the welcome screen.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard, use the arrows to move your character.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe on the screen with your fingers to move your character.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Back button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You begin with a 6 x 6 field of colored blocks.
      • Your player character, a black creature, is found within the field.
      • Above the 4 center blocks on the top row are tracks where the colored stars travel.
    • Move the colored blocks around so they match the colors of the stars falling from the top of the screen.
      • To move the blocks, move the black creature around the field.
      • Each time the creature moves, it trades places with the block previously occupying the space.
        • If the creature moves up, the block above it moves down.
        • If the creature moves down, the block below it moves up.
        • If the creature moves to one side, the block will occupy the opposite side.
      • Mismatched tracks will be grayed out.
        • Each time the star matches with a colored block, the track they’re in will light up.
    • Match all 4 of the stars with identically colored blocks to finish the puzzle.
      • After matching, the game generates anew field of blocks and a new set of falling stars.
      • If the stars reach the field before you can match them, it’s game over. The next time it loads, your score will be reset to zero.
  • Tips
    • Quickly scan the board to see which rows are out of order & how far away the furthest blocks of the correct color are to solve each column.
    • When you are below the top row you can move quickly to move other colors up & repeatedly make loops. Exercise greater caution near the top row.
    • Leave one edge piece for last so that you have parallel out paths to complete the other color matches.
  • Scoring
    • You earn a point for every set of stars and blocks you match.
    • Your browser will save your high score whether you end your session by exiting the game or by reaching a game over.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like block moving match the pattern games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
