How to Play

Get just enough juice from a single squeeze of an orange. to fill the container. Don’t let the container overflow.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • The number of levels you’ve unlocked are shown at the bottom center.
• Game Controls

    • With your mouse:
      • Left click on the orange to squeeze it.
      • Double click anywhere on the screen to restart the level.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the orange to squeeze it.
      • Double tap anywhere on the screen to start over.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The game’s controls and indicators are found on the top row. From left to right, thy are as follows:
      • Level number
      • Home button: Returns you to the welcome screen

  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
      • You can replay any of the other levels by selecting their number on the level selection screen.
    • There are 30 levels in this game.
      • This game offers unlimited continues.
  • Basic rules
    • Pour juice out of the orange.
      • Select the orange to squeeze out the juice.
      • You can only squeeze the orange once.
    • The juice must fill up the glass to the point marked by the dotted line.
      • If an insufficient amount of juice reaches the glass, you fail the level.
      • You will also fail the level if the juice flows and spills past the overflow line above the glass.
        • You do not lose credit for juice which simply misses the container when it is poured.
    • In later levels, you will need to pour the juice down platforms.
      • These platforms will divert the juice or make it overshoot the container.
        • They add a challenge in determining how long you need to squeeze.
      • Three questions to ask for obstacles
        • will this hold liquid, or simply redirect its flow to where it takes longer for the liquid to reach the glass (the physics of this game are not perfect, though it is easy to tell some obstacles will act like containers whereas other ones simply redirect fluid flow)
        • if the liquid will eventually pour down rather than being held, how significant is the delay & what portion of the cup’s fill is stored temporarily on other platforms
        • if the liquid is redirected, what portion of it pours into the container & what portion of it misses it
      • Trial & error tracking
        • If you repeatedly fail a level you can use time or visual cues to adjust your approach.
        • Track where the liquid was on the container when you stopped pouring and adjust slightly higher or lower.
        • Count either how many seconds you poured for, or how many seconds have passed since orange juice touched the container & then adjust.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like container filling games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
