How to Play

Shoot down as many enemy spaceships as you can while avoiding their attacks.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Go! to begin.

    • With your keyboard
      • Use the arrow keys to move.
      • Use the Z key to shoot.
      • Use the X key to turn the autopilot on or off.

      • Tap on the touchpad to move.
      • Tap on the autopilot button to turn the autopilot on or off.
      • Tap on the attack button to shoot.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Attack the enemy ships.
      • Move around the screen to aim your attack.
        • Pay close attention to where the crosshairs are. These indicate the trajectory of your shots.
        • Once you’re locked onto the ships, shoot as many times as you can.
      • When you’ve cleared all the ships, new ones take their place.
      • Keep shooting down ships for as long as you can.
    • Evade enemy fire.
      • Ships that are about to shoot will glow orange.
      • Move out of the way of the firing enemy as soon as you can.
      • Don’t let the bullet hit you.
  • Manual vs. Auto
    • You have the option of letting the computer target for you using the autopilot button.
      • The autopilot is off by default and must be turned on.
      • However, if you believe you can evade attacks better, you can leave it off.
    • The autopilot button will be green if it is active.
  • Scoring
    • You earn 5 points for every enemy ship you shoot down early in the game.
    • Ships with a green overlay are worth 10.
    • Ships with a gray overlay are worth 15.
  • Hit points
    • You start the game with 5 hit points.
    • Each time you get hit by enemy fire, you lose a hit points.
    • Lose all your hit points and your ship is destroyed.
  • Tips
    • The game is a bit boring with autopilot turned on.
      • If you are playing on desktop we recommend turning the feature off for greater control and to make the game more fun.
    • Make progress early
      • Early in the level when you see a new wave try to shoot into an area with many ships so you can do a lot of damage early before they shoot.
    • Whenever enemies shoot they shoot straight, so move out of the way horizontally or vertically until their fire passes and then shoot back at them.
      • Enemy crafts are highlighted with an orange outline when they shoot.
      • By moving only vertically or horizontally it makes it easier to re-lock your aim back on them later.
    • Try to attack ships that are on the same vertical or horizontal plane early so that you can take out many ships quickly and only have to aim in one direction.
      • Use the white pointer to aim rather than the blue dots.
