How to Play

Grab the blocks flown in by birds, move to the correct column, and drop the blocks to the grid below to make sets of 3 or more same-colored blocks in a row.

• Starting the Game
  • Press any button on the welcome screen to start playing.
    • If it is your first game you will play through a brief tutorial before playing the actual game.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Move left by pressing the A key or the left arrow key.
    • Move right by pressing the D key or the right arrow key.
    • Press the W key or the up arrow key to grab a block from a bird above you.
    • Press the A key or the down arrow key to drop a block below.
    • Press the R key to restart the game after finishing.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • This game was designed primarily for desktop play. It may render on mobile devices, but won’t work unless you have a connected keyboard.

    • To the right of the playing field the game shows your score and your all-time highscore.

  • Basics
    • This is a match 3 in a row game where you select blocks from birds above and throw them down into the grid below.
      • You can make matches vertically or horizontally, but not diagonally.
      • If you make a match of 4 in a row only 3 of them match.
    • The game ends when any of the 5 columns has more blocks in it than it can hold.
      • Each column can hold 9 blocks, but the tenth block covers past the ground slightly, instantly ending the game.
      • If the tenth block would make a vertical set of 3 in a row that set is made and you continue playing.
  • Difficulty
    • This game starts off easy, bordering on boring.
    • The difficulty of the game quickly ramps up as the birds come more frequently & the birds eventually start to drop random boxes where you do not know what is inside the box until a second or two after it lands.
  • Scoring
    • Each block you match is worth 10 points, making each scoring move worth 30 points.
    • If you make matches with consecutive moves, that sets off a multiplier bonus where the second scoring move makes those blocks worth double points and a third scoring move makes the blocks worth triple.
    • Your matches can set off chain reactions, which also activate the scoring multiplier bonus.
  • Tips
    • Stay sorted
      • Early in the game keep boxes sorted by color as you drop them.
      • Whenever you have 2 of the same color box atop a stack try not to throw anything else on that stack unless it is the same colored box.
    • Random boxes
      • When you start getting random [?] boxes place them in a column with no other blocks (at least until all columns have at least one block).
      • If the birds come fast with random boxes you can match 3 random boxes while the birds are holding them by running between two other random boxes, though this is quite hard to do.
    • Column management
      • The layout has 5 columns & there are 5 types of boxes (outside of random boxes). Whenever possible try to make each stack dedicated to a specific box type: yellow, blue, pink, green, or lightbulb.
      • As some columns begin to fill up, try to throw blocks into the shorter columns to extend your gameplay & only let blocks land in the most full columns if they match the color of the top block on the column.
      • Whenever you have 2 of the same colored box atop a stack try not to place anything on that stack unless it completes the set of 3.

  • The game is suited for players who like connect 3 in a row games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
