How to Play

Shoot arrows at the ropes holding cowboys in place to sever the ropes and save the cowboys.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the yellow and wooden button on the game loading screen to bring up the game’s welcome screen.
  • Select the yellow and wooden button on the game’s welcome screen to bring up the game’s level select screen.
  • The welcome screen also has the following buttons:
    • sound control in the upper right
    • game developer information & erase game progress in the lower left
    • achievements & more games in the lower right
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Left click your mouse anywhere on the screen & adjust your mouse placement to pull back your shot strength and shot angle. Release to shoot an arrow.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap anywhere on the screen & drag your finger to charge your shot and set your shot angle, then release to fire.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the game has a level restart button.
    • The upper right corner of the game has a pause button.
    • The top center of the game shows how many arrows you have remaining and what star rating you would earn if you finish the level with that many arrows.
    • Each cowboy has a green status meter above its head indicating how long you have to save them.
    • The bottom center of the game shows the current level number.
    • The level select screen shows how many of the 63 stars you have earned & what your star rating was on each level.
• Game Play
  • Shooting
    • In this game your shot arcs due to gravity.
      • If you have a direct shot try to shoot hard to minimize the impacts of gravity and aim slightly high to offset the impacts of gravity.
    • If you do not have a direct shot you may need to arc the arrow over an obstacle.
    • When shooting you do not need to start your finger near to the bow & arrow, but can instead select anywhere on the screen to charge up your shot from, giving you greater flexibility with aiming and shot strength.
  • Levels
    • This game has 21 levels.
    • Each cowboy has a green status bar above its head.
      • You beat levels by freeing all the cowboys before the status bars go to zero & before you run out of arrows.
      • Whenever one of your shots is low and hits a cowboy it takes some of the time away from their status bar.
    • If you run out of arrows or time you can replay the current level again.
    • After a level has been unlocked you can replay it whenever you like.
  • Star ratings
    • You can earn up to a 3-star rating on each level.
    • Your star rating is based on how many arrows the level took to complete.
    • You can replay an unlocked level at any time to try to earn a higher rating on it.
  • Extras
    • Some levels have barrels which you can blow up.
    • Some levels have crates in the way which you can knock over either by shooting a hard arrow at them or by blowing up a barrel near them.
    • The game has 2 types of bubbles in it: arrow, and bow & arrow.
      • The arrow bubbles shoot at an arrow at a nearby rope holding a cowboy.
      • The bow & arrow bubbles shift the location of your bow and arrow to where the bubble is located when you hit them.
      • Your shots can pass through multiple consecutive bubbles.
      • Be sure to hit nearby easy-to-reach cowboy ropes you have a good angle on before hitting a bow and arrow bubble.
  • Achievements
    • The achievements menu lists the following goals.
    • Beat 1, 6, 12 & all 21 levels.
    • Obtain 15, 24, 40 & 63 stars.

  • The game is suited for players who like archery practice games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
