How to Play

Match the stones with identical pictures to remove them from the stack. Remove the entire stack before the level timer runs out.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select play to begin.
  • Select Help to learn the rules of the game.
  • Select High Scores to view the leaderboard
  • Use the gear button on the bottom left to open the following gameplay options:
    • Select the speaker and music buttons to turn the game’s audio on or off.
    • Select Reset to clear your game progress.
  • Use the drop-down list on the bottom left corner of the screen to select a language for your game.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on the stones to select them.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the stones with your fingers to select them.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The game’s controls and indicators are shown on the right side. From the top, they are as follows:
      • Enlarge button: Lets you switch between windowed and full-screen modes
      • Level number
      • Level score
      • Timer
      • Pause button
      • Shuffle button
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio effects on and off
      • Music button: Turns the game’s music on and off
• Game Play
  • Levels
    • Levels are played sequentially.
      • Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
      • Finishing one level unlocks the next one.
      • If you ever end with a game over, you have 2 choices:
        • You can try again.
        • You can end the game there. This allows you to save your score to the leaderboard.
    • There are 30 levels in this game.
      • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
      • Pick out the level you want to replay on the level selection screen.
  • Basic rules
    • Match pairs of identical stones to clear them from the field.
      • To make a group, select one stone, then select another identical one.
      • The game removes the matching pair.
    • You can only pair free stones.
      • A free stone has one side (either the left or right) with no adjacent stone and no stone on top of it.
      • The game helpfully highlights all the free stones with a lighter color background.
        • Stones which are not free have more of a grayed out background color.
    • Clear the entire stack before the timer runs out to win the level.
      • The first level starts with 2 minutes and 2 seconds on the clock.
      • Later levels, with more tiles, have more time on the clock, with the time limit going up about 2 seconds per stage.
  • Scoring
    • Your level score represents the number of points you earned clearing a specific level.
      • Each group of stones you remove is worth 100 points.
      • You also receive 30 points for every second left on the clock.
      • Your level score appears below the level’s icon on the selection screen.
    • Your total score is the sum of all the level scores you’ve earned throughout your playthrough.
      • If you replay a level, your total score will only change if your new score exceeds the previous high score for the level.
      • You can view your total score on the top center of the selection screen
    • You can save your score on the leaderboard by meeting the following conditions:
      • You win all 30 levels.
      • You stop playing after a game over.
  • Shuffling
    • For a price, you can use shuffles to help you out. Shuffles will rearrange all the stones in the stack.
    • A shuffle costs 300 points.
    • Unlike other Mahjong Solitaire games, this game does not use hints.
• Target Audience

  • The game has no adult themed content.
