How to Play

Shoot as many zombies as you can before they kill you.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the bottom center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button to the left of the play button to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
    • Select the skins button to the right of the play button to open the skin browser.
      • On the skin browser, choose from 10 different characters to play as.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
    • Your high score is shown at the center of the welcome screen.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to shoot. You shoot in the direction your mouse is pointing.
    • With your keyboard, use the arrows or W, A, S, and D keys to move.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe the movement arcade button around to move.
    • Tap and swipe the shooting arcade button to shoot. You shoot in the direction you swipe.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top left corner:
      • Health
      • Time
      • Ammunition
    • Top right corner:
      • Pause button
    • Bottom row (touchscreen controls, left to right):
      • Movement button
      • Shooting button
• Game Play
  • Getting around
    • Watch out for hazards and obstacles.
      • Puddles of mud will slow down your movement. Avoid walking into them.
      • Holes have retractable spikes in them. Move past them quickly to avoid getting harmed by the spikes.
      • Drums can stand in your way and interfere with your shots.
    • Move away from the mutant zombies and toward the crates.
      • The crates give you either health packs or specialized guns.
  • Shooting the mutant zombies
    • You start off equipped with a pistol.
      • The pistol is the weakest of the available weapons but offers infinite ammo.
      • Use the pistol to fight off individual zombies. This will buy you time to collect air dropped weapons.
    • It usually takes a few shots to kill the mutant zombies.
      • Smaller ones go down in one pistol shot.
      • Most take two shots to take down.
      • Hulking large ones need to be shot three times.
    • You can get air drops of more effective weapons like rifles and grenade launchers.
      • Although these have limited ammo, they are much more powerful.
      • Air-dropped weapons can help you clear large numbers of mutant zombies at once.
      • Use the more powerful weapons to beat back the waves of zombies and the pistol to hold off individual zombies while you retreat awaiting another powerful weapon.
  • Survival
    • You start the session with a full health bar.
    • Each time the zombies attack you, you lose health.
    • Lose all your health and it’s game over.
    • You can replenish your health bar by collecting fallen health packs.
  • Skins
    • All characters have a skin which is inspired by the game Among Us.
    • You start off with the blue skin Ethan.
    • Other skins you can switch to include:
      • green Gina
      • red Liam
      • white Ava
      • purple Noah
      • orange Olivia
      • pink Sophia
      • yellow Mia
      • maroon Mason
      • black Ninja
  • Scoring
    • Your score is based on two factors:
      • How long you stay alive
      • How many zombies you slayed before you died
    • The more mutant zombies you kill and the longer you live, the higher your score will be.
    • The game informs you each time you beat your previous high score on the game over screen.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like pixelated survival shooting games.
    • Players shoot a pixelated gun at zombies.
    • The game does not show blood when the zombies are hit.
  • Other than the above, the game has no adult themed content.
