How to Play

Help the donut avoid the evil spinning blades by switching platforms. Collect gems to score points & collect coins to purchase other foods to play as.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the teal and white button at the center of the game’s welcome screen.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including purchased unlocks and best score.
    • This will load a tutorial overlay. Tap anywhere on the screen after the tutorial is done to start play, or click the teal button at the bottom center to immediately start play.
  • The welcome screen shows your coin savings in the upper left & has a sound control button in the upper right corner. Across the bottom of the welcome screen there are 3 buttons for buying unlocks, changing the game background, and reading game developer information.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Press the up arrow key to jump up a platform.
    • Press the down arrow key to fall down a platform.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Touch the on-screen controls with a finger to use them.
    • The down button is in the lower left corner of the screen.
    • The up button is in the lower right corner of the screen.
• Game Play
  • Movement
    • You automatically run side to side until you bounce off of the edge of the screen or hit a blade and die.
      • When you run you run faster than the spinning blades move, so it is possible to accidentally run into them.
      • Warning icons appear near the edge of the screen where spinning blades will soon enter.
      • The only movement you can make is to jump upward or fall down to change platforms.
    • If you are on the top platform you can not jump over blade on the top platform & must go under it.
    • You can jump or fall 2 platforms at once by pressing up or down twice.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is based on how many gems you collect.
    • Gems which appear stay available for an extended period of time.
  • Backgrounds
    • The game has 5 different background images you can choose.
    • All backgrounds are unlocked when you start the game.
  • Coins
    • Coins disappear shortly after appearing.
    • Coins do not impact your score directly, but can be used to unlock other 8 other characters in addition to your default donut character.
    • Other characters can be unlocked for the following amounts
      • 10 for french fries
      • 20 for bread
      • 50 for egg
      • 85 for burger
      • 110 for pizza
      • 125 for apple
      • 150 for Jello or bundt cake (visually it could be either, depending on what you are hungry for!)
      • 175 for a hot dog or sausage
    • It costs 725 coins to unlock all characters.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like idle evasion games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
