How to Play

Pair off open sets of stones until you clear the stack.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play button on the welcome screen to load the level select screen.
    • You can play the levels in any order you wish.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your best play time on each level.
  • Underneath the Play button are buttons for how to play Help and More Games.
  • The lower left corner of the welcome screen had a language select dropdown.
  • The lower right corner of the game has buttons for game controls, social media sharing, and reading game developer information.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click to select an open stone & then click again to select an identical open stone to remove the pair from the stack.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select an open stone & then click again to select an identical open stone to remove the pair from the stack.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The right rail of the game contains the game controls.
      • At the top it shows the current level number.
      • Buttons from top to bottom allow you to pause the game, shuffle stones, take a hint, control game sound, control game music, and switch to full screen mode.
      • At the bottom it shows your level play time.
    • The level select screen shows your best time for each level you have completed.
      • Use the arrows on the lower left & lower right corners of the level select screen to scroll through all 37 screens showcasing 366 levels.
• Game Play
  • Matching stones
    • Identical
      • In this game almost all stone matches you make must be identical.
      • There are two exceptions to the identical rule: flower and season stones.
        • Flowers can be matched with any other flower stone. Flowers have Chinese characters in the upper right corner of the stone.
        • Season stones can be matched with any other season stone. Seasons have numbers in the upper right corner of the stone.
    • Open
      • You can only pair open (or free) stones.
      • Free stones are stones which do not have any stones on top of them and at least one side (left or right) is free of other stones.
      • In some Mahjong Solitaire games free stones have a different color than stones which are not free, but in this game the only way to ensure a stone is free is to select it.
        • If the border turns yellow the stone is free.
        • If you are unable to select the stone it is not free.
    • Autoshuffle
      • If no valid moves are available the game automatically shuffles the remaining stones.
      • This means there is always at least one valid open stone pair available at all times.
      • Automated shuffles do not cost you points / time.
  • Levels
    • This game has 366 different stack configurations.
      • You can choose to play the stacks in any order you wish.
      • When you beat a stack the game then starts you on the next sequential stack, but you can go back to the level select screen and choose to play a different stack.
    • You can replay previously beat levels.
      • Your new score will only replace the old score if you beat it by finishing the level quicker.
  • Scoring
    • This game does not score you based on points, but based on how long it takes you to beat each level.
      • Each level is scored separately.
      • Manually shuffling stones adds 10 seconds to your level play time.
      • Taking a hint adds 5 seconds to your level play time.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire tile match games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
