How to Play

Navigate through the ever-changing maze and pick up as many gems as you can. Avoid the scorpions.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best scores
    • You can see your previous high score on the bottom right corner of the welcome screen.
• Game Controls

    • Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the directional buttons on the bottom right corner of the screen to move.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The game’s controls and indicators are located on the top row. From left to right, they are as follows:
      • Life meter
      • Score
      • Timer
      • Hamburger button: Pauses the game
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Collect as many gems as you can.
    • Avoid the scorpions.
    • The game ends when you run out of health.
      • Select the reset button on the left to start a new maze.
      • Select the x button to return to the welcome screen.
  • Maze
    • The maze shifts every 10 seconds.
      • Move quickly to reach gems or to avoid getting trapped.
      • The maze can trap you from time to time. Just wait it out and you will find a way out soon.
    • Sometimes, it pays to sit still and wait for the maze to shift.
      • A shift can create a better path to the gem.
      • The maze shifting can also keep the scorpions at bay. 🙂
      • However, they can also trap the scorpions inside the walls, where they can somehow still attack you.
  • Health
    • You start the game with 100% health.
    • You lose health each time the scorpions attack you.
    • Pick up health packs to replenish part of your health.
