Can you dance onion? Or will you make me cry? Perhaps, could you be, the apple of my eye?
This is a cute dance battle game where you play as Apple or Onion going around the neighborhood rounding up friends to throw a dance party. One could think of this game as being Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) for the finger tips on one hand. 😀
Choose to play as Apple or Onion.
Watch a dance battle competitor show you some moves.
Use the rhythm meter at the top of the screen to copy their moves, score high, and unlock the next level.

How to Play
Tap the key required to complete the dance move when it is in the highlighted spot in the key sequence.
Starting the Game
Click on the white triangle on the game loading screen to open the welcome screen.
Click on the green and white button at the bottom of the welcome screen.
This will bring up the level select screen.
If this is your first time playing the game it will only show DA HOUSE level as being unlocked.
Choose which character you want to play (Onion or Apple) and then click on the green and white button.
The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right corner and a developer information button in the lower left corner.
Your web browser automatically saves your star ratings, hit accuracy, and unlocked levels.
You can replay previously beat levels to try to improve your score & accuracy.
Use the arrow keys, tapping the correct key when it is in a highlighted bubble.
Repeat the process throughout the remaining dance sequence.
Use your finger like a mouse to start the game, navigate through the level selection screen & choose your character.
To dance use the on-screen buttons. The left and up keys are in the lower left corner of the screen, while the right and down buttons are in the lower right corner of the screen.
This game is easier to play on desktop than mobile due to the discrete physical keys & mechanical feedback they offer.
The upper right corner of the game has a pause button.
The pause screen has buttons for resuming play, turning musing on or off, restarting the current stage, or going to the game’s welcome screen.
You can earn up to 3 stars on each stage.
Your rating corresponds with a bar at the top of each level.
As you get more moves correct your rating improves.
If you mistime keys or click the wrong key then your score lowers.
If you get the timing wrong on a move it will show in gray.
At the end of each stage (which consists of a number of dances) you can click the circle arrow to play the stage again or the green and white button with a triangle on it to advance to the next stage.
The game is quite forgiving, yielding a 3-star rating even if you score as low as 78%.
When you beat the final stage it tells you what your overall hit rate was throughout the game.
Each stage consists of a set of 3 rounds of dances.
Each round has 3 sections in it.
The game has a total of 10 different stages.
You can choose to play Onion or Apple on each stage.
A new stage unlocked each time you beat a different stage.
The stages are: da house, street, park, pizza shop, jailhouse, the escape, coming back, walking down, the block, and big party.
Each stage has you dance off against a character like patty, cheeseburger, pizza, strawberry milkshake
As you progress through the game the frequency of key presses increases to where you have to have much better timing.
If you miss a key in a short sequence look ahead a note or two and try to be ready for that instead of trying to catch up and making multiple errors in a row.
This game is fun for Apple & Onion fans of all ages.
The music makes this game feel much richer and deeper, so this game is either best for players who are playing with headphones on or players playing it in an isolated area.
The game starts off slow and is quite easy, so even quite young kids new to computers will likely enjoy playing the first couple stages.
There are no adult themes in the game.
