The Lost World Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Match the parent animals with their young. The paths between the two must not intersect with any other path. Every square in the grid must be used as part of your paths.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Play at the center of the screen to begin.
    • Select the speaker button at the bottom left of the play button to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
    • Select the instruction button to open the game’s tutorial screen.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click and drag to form a line.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap and swipe on the sxcreen with yuor fingers to form a line.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • Level number
    • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You start each level with a 4 x 4 grid.
    • Draw a line from the parent animal to its young.
      • None of the lines can intersect.
      • Do not leave any of the spaces blank.
    • Connect all the animals with their young to clear the level.
  • Levels
    • The game has 30 stages which are unlocked in sequence.
      • You automatically begin on the first level when you load the game for the first time.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • As long as the game stays open in your web browser you resume play on the level you most recently played, but if you restart your web browser you start back at the first stage.
  • Tips
    • Start with animals near the edges of the level and animals which have an easy straight path first.
    • Work by a process of elimination to narrow down your possibilities.
    • Some paths can remain partially drawn and stopped in the middle while you draw paths connecting other animals.
    • You can erase a path connecting two animals and then adjust it drawing a new path.
