How to Play

Shoot the approaching hearts with arrows before they reach the ground.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the PLAY button in the lower part of the game’s welcome screen to start the game.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
  • The welcome screen contains a sound control button in the bottom left corner and a full screen mode button in the bottom right corner.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select near the arrow and pull down to aim and set your shot strength & release to fire.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger & drag it along the screen to set shot strength. Release to fire.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Your score is shown in the bottom left corner of the screen.
• Game Play
  • Shooting
    • Hearts can move straight or in a back and forth manner.
    • You are not penalized for missing shots, so it makes sense to rapidly shoot as the screen fills up with hearts.
    • Ideally you can hit the hearts when they are in the middle to upper portion of the screen as your arrow can then fly into other hearts as well. When they hearts get down near the bottom of the screen you have to shoot at an extreme angle which typically prevents you from shooting multiple hearts at once.
  • Scoring
    • Hearts are worth 100 points each.
    • If you can hit multiple hearts with a single arrow there is a multiplier effect where the second heart is worth 200 and the third heart is worth 400.
  • Dying
    • Each heart that makes it to the bottom of the screen costs you one of your lives.
    • When 3 hearts land on the floor it is game over.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple archery games and those who want to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a rather low key way.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
