How to Play

Shoot down enemies and withstand the attacks of the totem for as long as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Start to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard, use the arrows or WASD keys to move.
      • Move left by pressing the A key or the left arrow key.
      • Move right by pressing the D key or the right arrow key.
      • Move up by pressing the W key or the up arrow key.
      • Move down by pressing the S key or the down arrow key.
      • You can move diagonally by pressing up and left, down and right, or similar.
    • Left click with your mouse to shoot.
    • Because of this configuration, we recommend that right-handed players use WASD controls and left-handed players use arrow controls.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Although the game might load on touchscreen devices
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Shoot as many enemies as you can.
      • Enemies will chase after you. Don’t let them.
      • Left click on their general direction to shoot at them.
    • Beware of the totem.
      • The totem is a large eye-like stationary being at the center of the battlefield.
      • An arc appears near it that indicates its growth
      • The totem will attack you (or anything that moves) once it finishes charging.
      • The only way to avoid getting attacked is by staying still.
    • Collect gold (yellow) and mana (blue).
      • These are left behind by enemies as they die.
      • You can collect a lot of mana and gold after the totem kills all your enemies for you.
  • Shield
    • Your shield protects you from enemy blasts.
      • When enemies approach you, your shield fends them off.
      • As the enemies hit you, the shield wears down.
      • If you get hit without the shield, it’s game over.
    • Collect mana to replenish your shield.
    • The circle represents how charged your shield is, not its area of effect.
      • As long as a piece of the circle is around, you can fend off enemies that get too close.
      • Enemies cannot get past the shield even if they come from behind it.
      • The circle gets bigger as you collect mana.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points based on the gold you collect. Each piece of gold is worth 10 points.
    • You can keep track of your score on the top center of your shield.
  • Tips
    • While you can shoot your enemies, they come in overwhelming force.
      • You’re not likely going to deter them by shooting alone.
      • You must rely on shooting them to create a path to move and using your shield to fend them off.
      • Move toward where there’s a lot of mana and coins to pick them up.
    • To clear your foes, immediately stand still shortly before the totem fires.
      • The enemies will try to converge at you but they will all perish when the totem fires.
      • Replenish as much of the shield as you can with the mana they leave behind to survive the next wave.
      • In effect, your main defense is the totem.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like evade and survive games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
