How to Play

Slide around the levels collecting coins. Avoid touching hot ranges on your path. Collect all the coins to move onto the next stage.

• Starting the Game
  • Press the brown and black play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has buttons for music control, sound control, game developer information, and resetting game progress.

    • Press the up arrow key to slide up.
    • Press the down arrow key to slide down.
    • Press the right arrow key to slide right.
    • Press the left arrow key to slide left.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger and drag your finger across the screen to slide.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner shows what level number you are playing.
    • The upper right corner has buttons for restarting the stage and pausing the game.
    • The level select screen shows unlocked levels in blue and locked levels in white.

  • Basics
    • This is a game inspired by the maze attack genre.
    • The goal is to collect all the coins on each stage.
    • You must avoid running over the red and gray range-like objects when they are red, or else they will burn you and you’ll lose the level.
  • Features
    • Walls – anytime you move the movement is only completed when you run into a wall or another object. You can repeatedly run into a wall.
    • Coins – collect all of them to beat a stage.
    • Red & gray ranges – you can pass over these when they are gray, but if you touch them while red you instantly die.
      • All ranges on a stage switch colors at a regular interval.
      • Some ranges are in sync with each other, while some other ranges will be 180 degrees out of phase.
    • Green boxes – these act as temporary walls or stops which allow you to reach coins that might otherwise be inaccessible.
      • Each time you run into a switch you change the locations of the green boxes.
      • The inactive locations are outlined in a gray dashed line.
    • Green switches – running across them changes the locations of the green boxes.
    • Arrows – they bounce you around the direction they are pointing when you run into them.
      • Some stages have paths with many arrows in a row, which repeatedly redirect your movements.
    • Warps – these move you from one spot to another on a level.
      • You retain your movement direction when you exit the second warp box.
    • Pause boxes – when you run into these you stop.
      • After stopping you can choose to move in any direction you want.
      • You can repeatedly leave the warp boxes and go back to them to clear out coins in multiple different directions.
  • Levels
    • This game has 25 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels anytime.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by collecting all the coins on it.
      • You lose a stage if you run over or stand on a range when it is red.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • Pay attention to the level design before making your first move.
      • Some coins are only accessible from your initial starting point & may not be accessible if you start by moving the wrong direction.
    • If you are running through an arrow which pushes you over a range be sure you time the move to ensure the range is inactive when you get there & quickly make a subsequent move.
    • Try to time the ranges so you cross them just after they turn gray.
      • If timing a range is close just wait until the next cycle to make your cross.
    • Warp boxes, pause boxes, and switches can be a bit tricky. If you are having trouble accessing a part of the stage & are blocked by a green square try to go through a warp box while entering from a different direction, and/or first activate a green switch to change the locations of the green boxes.
