How to Play

Move the tunnels around to create a path for your character. Move your character to the door to finish the level.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button at the center of the welcome screen to begin.
  • On the top center of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select the speaker button on the left to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.
    • Select the music button on the right to turn the game’s music on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse:
      • Press the A key or left arrow to move to the left.
      • Press the D key or right arrow to move to the right.
      • Press the W key or up arrow to climb up.
      • Press the S key or down arrow to climb down.
    • With your mouse, left click and drag to move tunnels.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Although this game might load on touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • Grid button: Pauses the game and opens the level selection screen
    • Speaker button (level selection screen only)
    • Music button (level selection screen only)
    • Undo button
    • Reset button
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Move toward the door somewhere on the other side of the level.
      • You can only climb up and down at specific points in a level marked by a diagonal pattern of rocks.
    • Move tunnel pieces to create paths for your character.
      • Tunnel pieces you can move have a jagged edge to their walls.
      • Slide the tunnel pieces around and link them up to the tunnels you’re in to use them.
      • You cannot move tunnel pieces that you are currently occupying.
    • Push boxes out of the way to unblock paths and create platforms to cross.
      • Don’t let the boxes hit you.
    • In later levels, collect keys to unlock the door.
    • Reach the door to win the level.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • There are 16 levels in this game.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.
  • Winning vs. losing
    • You win by entering the door.
    • You only have one lose condition and that is getting hit by a box.
    • However, you might encounter situations that render the level unwinnable. Undo your last actions or reset the level to try again.
  • Tips
    • You can not jump. The only way to move up is to climb a ladder area which consists of a background design with a series of ^ ^ characters.
    • The pieces which can be slide move in whatever direction you push them until they run into another platform. You can not slide any movable piece which you are standing on while you slide it.
    • When pieces can fall downward due to gravity they will.
    • Like most Sokoban games you can only push one box at a time.
    • If you make a simple mistake press the undo last move button & if you make a mistake that makes it impossible to beat a stage press the restart level button to try again.
    • This game requires a lot of moving back and forth between segments of platforms to prevent accidentally falling, getting squished by a box, or having a box otherwise land in the wrong area.
