How to Play

As a cyclist in space, move up and down the hilly terrain of the planetoid for as far as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • The game is immediately playable once it loads.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best distance.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Use the space bar to get started.
      • Use the left arrow key or the A key to tilt counterclockwise
      • Use the right arrow key or the D key to tilt clockwise.
      • Use the up arrow key or the W key to accelerate.
      • Use the down arrow key or the S key to brake, or to move backward from a stop.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers
      • Tap on the tilt buttons to tilt.
      • Tap on the arrows to move.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top left corner (top-down):
      • Force
      • Distance
      • Best distance
    • Top right corner (left to right):
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sound effects on and off
      • Music button: Turns the game’s music on and off
      • Reset button: Starts the game from the beginning
    • Bottom row (touchscreen controls, left to right):
      • Tilt left

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Keep moving for as long as you can.
      • You have a limited amount of energy to keep moving forward. This is indicated by the bar on the top left corner.
      • Build up momentum to help you move forward without peddling too much.
      • The game ends when you run out of energy.
    • Avoid flipping over.
      • You’re more likely to flip over
      • Tilt to the left or right as needed to maximize the likelihood that you’d stay upright after a big jump.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is based on the distance you traveled.
    • A flag appears as you approach the furthest distance you traveled. Getting past this flag indicates you’ve beaten your previous high score.
  • Tips
    • If you travel at a high speed and roll you will still maintain some of your momentum. If you can make it to a steep cliff you can fall off and get your bike spun back around.
    • If you do not have enough momentum to make it up a hill you can break, move backward down the hill and up a hill backward, and then approach the hill again with more speed.
    • When flying through the air you typically want to keep your front wheel slightly above the back wheel so that if you land on the side of a hill you do not smash into it & keep your momentum.
    • For some players it is easier to use the left hand to control speed or angle while the right hand controls the other aspect.
      • You can, for instance, use the up & down arrow keys for speed and the A & D keys to control your angle.
      • Likewise, you can use W & S keys to control speed and the left & right arrow keys to control angle.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like ragdoll physics games.
