How to Play

Capture all of Princess Ivy’s butterflies to save the kingdom.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the purple play button on the bottom right corner of the welcome screen to begin.
  • A cutscene will play where Sofia explains the game’s premise.
  • The game is narrated. For the full experience, please turn on your speakers or wear earphones.

    • Left click anywhere on the screen with your mouse to move.

    • Tap anywhere on the screen with your fingers to move.
• Game Play
  • Choose your character
    • Princess Sofia
    • Princess Amber
  • Basic rules
    • The game will begin with a brief tutorial explaining its controls.
    • As the princesses Sofia or Amber, collect all the black and white dragonflies in each area of the castle.
      • To capture a butterfly, simply walk toward them
      • Avoid the dragonflies.
      • Clear all 3 areas of the castle to win.
    • Once you clear the entire castle, you are rewarded with a coloring page.
      • Select the print button on the left side of the screen to print out the coloring page.
      • Select the play button on the right side to return to the welcome screen.
  • Avoiding the dragonflies
    • Touching the dragonflies will cause the princess in question to get dazed.
    • If the princesses get dazed 3 times, they must re-capture the butterflies all over again.
    • To avoid the dragonflies, look for a hiding spot (a suit of armor) or grab one of Cedric’s red books.
  • Cedric’s books
    • Cedric will provide the princesses with 2 magic books to aid them in their quest.
      • Red books will protect them from dragonflies if they are unable to find hiding places.
      • Blue books will make the princesses move faster for a short time.
    • These will be critical in helping the princesses clear each level.
