How to Play

Help the snake collect all the food before exiting the level. Be mindful of gravity.

  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use the arrow keys to move the snake up, down, left, and right.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the arrow buttons on the screen to move.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Top left
      • Back: Go back to the level selection screen.
      • Reset: Start the level from the very beginning.
    • Top right
      • Grid: Toggle the game’s grid.
    • Bottom center
      • Arrow buttons: Use these to move around.
• Game Play
  • Level selection
    • The game has 24 levels, which must be played in sequence.
    • To unlock the second level, complete the first, and so on.
    • You can replay any level you’ve already unlocked.
  • Basic
    • The snake can only move forward and to the sides.
    • Guide the snake around the maze to find food.
    • Avoid hitting any of the gears.
    • Once you collected all the food, bring the snake to the portal to finish the level.
  • Dying
    • The snake will perish if it falls onto a gear or off platform.
    • The standard rules of snake apply. Don’t let the snake hit any part of itself.
  • Gravity
    • This variation of snake takes place in a vertical plane. Gravity is a recurring element and will determine how you move.
    • Gravity will make the snake fall down.
    • To counteract gravity, a part of the snake must remain in contact with a platform at all times.
    • The snake can sometimes use its own body as a support, but only if a part of it is supported by a platform.
    • On some levels you may have to move across a floating fruit for support & then eat it from another angle.
