How to Play

Stomp or shoot as many bugs as you can until you reach the door at the other side.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • The game will show you a brief tutorial screen each time you start.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Press the left and right arrows to move.
      • Press the up arrow to jump. Press twice to double jump.
      • Press the space bar to shoot.
    • Although we do not recommend it, you can left click on the touchscreen controls with your mouse.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the left and right arrows to move.
      • Tap on the up arrow to jump. Tap twice to double jump.
      • Tap on the shoot button to shoot.
  • Controls (left to right)
    • Top row:
      • Top left corner (top-down)
        • Remaining lives
        • Score
      • Stage (level) number
      • Hamburger button: Pauses the game and opens the level selection screen
    • Bottom row (touchscreen controls):
      • Left arrow
      • Right arrow
      • Up arrow
      • Shoot button
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Move through the level until you reach the exit door on the other side.
    • Take out as many enemy bugs as you can.
      • You can take out enemies by shooting or stomping them.
      • We recommend shooting enemies that are farther away and within range.
      • For enemies that are close or are below you, we recommend stomping them.
    • Enter the exit door to finish the level.
  • Stages
    • The game’s levels are called stages. They are unlocked sequentially.
    • The game has 16 stages.
    • You can access and replay any of the stages you’ve already finished by opening the level selection screen using the hamburger button.
  • Lives
    • You begin the game with 3 lives, which are represented by hearts on the top left corner of the screen.
      • Each time an enemy touches you, you lose a life.
      • After you lose a life, you will flicker for a bit. Enemies cannot attack you for a brief moment, but you also cannot attack them back.
      • Lose all your lives and the game ends.
    • If you fall into a pit, the game ends even if you had 3 lives.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is based on the number of enemies you take out.
    • Enemies are worth 20 points each.
    • You can view your latest score at the end of the level on the win and game over screens/
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple platforming games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
