Orange Farm Bubble Shooter Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • Press the red and white play button in the center of the welcome screen to start the game.
    • If you have played the game before in the same web browser you will resume your prior game.
  • Across the bottom of the welcome screen are buttons for more games, game developer information, and settings – where you can control game sound options and reset the game.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select items to buy in the store mode & to aim and shoot in the harvest bubble shooting mode.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select items to buy or to shoot bubbles in the harvest bubble shooting mode of the game.
  • Controls & indicators
    • In the bubble shooter portion of the game if you have the boosters unlocked the boosters shop will show at the beginning of the level. The level number shows top center. Your current ball is near the bottom center, with the “up next” ball smaller just below it. The lower left corner shows how many misses you have left before the game will add more bubbles to the level. The lower right corner has a button for accessing the power ups and a pause button.
    • In the overview portion of the game where you sell your harvest there is a menu button in the upper left corner, the upper right corner shows your level number and coin savings, the lower left corner has a shop button, and the lower right corner has a harvest button to play the bubble shooting portion of the game.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a bubble shooting game where you “harvest” orange trees by knocking the orange on the bubble shooter portion of the levels free from the stack.
    • Your harvest after each round is sold onto consumers. You can increase your harvest by planting more trees, planting higher quality trees, improving the quality of your sales stand, and purchasing processing equipment to turn the oranges into orange juice or ice cream.
  • Bubble Shooter
    • Shoot your bubbles to create sets of 3 or more consecutive adjacent identical bubbles to clear those bubbles from the stack.
      • Any bubbles which were connected to the stack only via the bubbles you removed will also be removed.
      • Keep removing bubbles until you clear the orange from the stack.
    • Bubbles added
      • The lower left corner of the screen has an oranges indicator which shows how many misses you can make before more bubbles will automatically appear on the stage.
      • Each time you shoot a bubble and make a chain of 3 or more you get another shot without impacting the counter.
      • When you shoot and do not make a chain the counter decrements, and when it reaches zero more bubbles are added.
      • When the counter reaches zero and more bubbles are added to the stage it can reset the counter to a higher value, or leave it at zero to where each additional miss adds more bubbles to the stage.
    • Levels
      • This game has well over 50 levels you can play through, with each cleared level unlocking the next.
      • You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels.
      • If the bubbles reach below the red line near the bottom you lose.
        • If you lose a level you can replay it an unlimited number of times.
    • Power ups
      • On level 7 you unlock an aim booster power up, which provided a dotted line mapping out the path of your shot when used.
      • On level 17 you unlock a wildcard booster power up, which matches the color of any bubble you hit when you shoot it.
      • If you run out of power ups in inventory you can buy more at the beginning of harvest, with the aim-aid costing 499 and the wildcard costing 699. If you run out of boosters and keep losing then the game may periodically give you extra freebie power ups.
  • Store
    • At the end of each stage as consumers purchase your products your cash savings increase.
    • You can use your cash to purchase more trees, better trees, a better stand, and equipment to process the raw oranges into orange juice or ice cream.
  • Tips
    • Shooting bubbles
      • You do not score points for shooting bubbles, but rather play until the orange is freed or a bubble falls down to the red line shown near the bottom.
      • You can ricochet your shots off of either side of the screen.
      • Track the orange indicator in the lower left corner of the screen to see if missing a shot will lead to more bubbles being added to the screen.
      • Look at your “up next” bubble beneath the current bubble you are shooting to see what color you may want to try to clear a path for.
        • In some cases it means making a major trick shot to clear a path.
        • In other cases it can mean making an easy shot that leaves an easy to make connection to another part of a chain where you leave a set for the next balloon of the same color to hit.
      • Power ups
        • The power ups generally are not worth paying for as you’ll be given some for free as you play and the game offers unlimited continues.
        • Try to save the power ups for when you will avoid getting new balls by using it and are close to winning, or only need to make one more hard shot to dislodge the orange from the stage.
    • Trees
      • Buy as many low-level trees as you can until you fill up the screen.
      • Each orange sold is worth 10 and the cheapest trees which yield an orange per harvest cost 25.
      • After 3 harvests the trees pay for themselves, and all incremental harvest is gravy.
      • Once the screen space is full you can recycle the lower-level trees and place some of the high-yield trees into the mix.
      • In general the medium trees are a bad value as you are better off buying the cheaper trees until the space is full & then upgrading to high-yield trees when the space is full and you can afford to.
      • Similarly, the extreme yield trees are not a great value because they are horizontally wider than the high-yield trees, meaning you can’t really fit as many of them into the screen & the price difference thus makes no sense.
    • Sales stands
      • You can place 2 sales stands near the bottom to speed up your inventory sales.
      • The higher quality stands allow you to earn more from every item sold.
        • If your harvest has 20 trees yielding 3 oranges each you’ll make at least 60 more each harvest by having a higher quality stand.
        • The basic stand pays for itself after only a handful of harvests.
        • Not only do higher quality stands help you earn more, but you’ll sell through your inventory faster.
    • Equipment
      • If you build one low-level juicer and one low-level ice cream machine you’ll consume all the orange juice making ice cream.
      • If you want to sell multiple items in parallel so you sell through faster it can make sense to have one more juicer than ice cream machine so you are selling all 3 items at once.

Trees

There are 4 types of trees available in the game. 3 tree types can be purchased after completing 2 harvests & the fourth tree type can be purchased when you reach level 30.

Processing Equipment

As you advance through the game you unlock equipment to turn oranges into orange juice and ice cream.

Sales Stands

There are 3 different sales stands you can use. Higher quality sales stands cost more, but allow you to earn more from sales & have customers approach faster.
