How to Play

Shoot numbers onto any of the rows. Identical numbers will merge together. Keep merging as many numbers as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best score.
    • Your best score appears above the play button at the center of the welcome screen.

    • Tap on a row with your fingers to place a number.

  • Basic rules
    • Shooting numbers
      • The shooter appears at the bottom center. It has 2 number tiles on it.
        • The number on top is the one that you’ll immediately place down.
        • The number on the bottom is the next one.
      • You can discard numbers by left clicking or tapping on them.
        • You begin each game with only 4 chances to discard numbers.
        • You earn another chance to discard with every 200 points you make.
        • Discard number tiles wisely. Use them to skip ahead if the next number is more immediately useful.
      • To shoot (i.e. place) a number, left click or tap on any of the five rows onscreen.
        • The numbers you place in will gradually move downward.
        • Keep adding numbers until all the rows are full.
        • When the rows are completely filled up, it’s game over.
    • Merging numbers
      • Two or more identical number tiles will merge when placed next to one another.
      • Numbers move a specific way when merging:
        • The identical numbers on the top, left, and right are pulled into the space where you placed the newest number.
        • They will leave behind a space.
          • If a number was below of them, these will go up as they fill up the space.
          • If the new number was below them, they will also go up.
      • Multiple groups of numbers can merge in rapid succession if they’re in the right place.
      • The values of the numbers you merge vary.
        • Merging two identical numbers will form one that is twice their original value (e.g. merging two 4 tiles creates an 8 tile).
        • Merging three or more identical numbers will yield the square of the number that’s twice their original value (e.g., merging three 4 tiles will yield a 16 tile).
  • Scoring
    • Each tile has a base value.
      • The lowest score value is 3, formed by merging two 2 tiles.
      • The next highest value is 4, forming from merging two 4 tiles. You get 5 from merging two 8 tiles, and so on.
    • You also receive a multiplier combo bonus each time you merge tiles one after another.
    • Your high score updates in real time.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like simple merging games.
