How to Play

Fly through the tower while avoiding spikes and blades. Collect the gems on your way and exit through the door to the next stage.

• Starting the Game
  • Press the light blue and white play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including completed levels and collected gems.
  • The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.

    • Use your mouse left click button to flap your wings and ascend.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen to flap your wings and ascend.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The level select screen shows how many levels you unlocked and how many of the 100 gems you collected.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a tower escape flying game where you control a bat with Flappy Bird styled controls.
      • Rather than flying between gaps in pipes you bounce back and forth off the walls (and platforms) in the game, changing direction each time you run into one.
      • Avoid hitting any of the fixed spikes, fixed blades, or moving blades as you make your way up to the exit.
    • Gems
      • Each stage has some gems on it which you can collect by flying through them.
      • You can beat each stage without collecting all the gems, but the level select screen shows how many gems you collected.
      • If you miss gems you can go back and collect them on a subsequent play of the stage.
  • Levels
    • This game has 20 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously completed levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by safely making it to the exit door at the top of the stage.
      • You lose if you run into a blade or spike, or fail to keep up with the movement of the screen.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • On some stages it makes sense to move immediately, while on others it makes sense to wait for the screen to start moving before you move.
    • Some passageways require tight timing, while others are more favorable. In general it makes sense to optimize your screen positioning to give yourself the best optionality for the hardest parts of each stage.
    • If you miss a gem don’t worry about it, you can go back and collect it later, but remember which stage it was on.
