Moon Defense Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Select anywhere on the screen to speed up the moon and switch its direction of rotation. Block all incoming asteroids.

• Starting the Game
  • Select the PLAY button in the center of the welcome screen to start the game.
  • The welcome screen has a HELP button under the PLAY button. Clicking it explains the game’s mechanics.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to increase the speed of the moon and change which direction it is rotating.
    • When you release the left click button the moon will retain its direction of the rotation but slow down to normal speed.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to increase the speed of the moon and change its rotation direction.
    • When you release the moon will retain the new rotation direction, but will slow back down.
• Game Play
  • Your goal is to save the Earth by controlling the speed and direction of rotation of the moon.
  • The moon starts off flying clockwise & then each time you select it the direction of rotation spins.
  • While you have the moon actively selected it moves at a faster speed & then goes back to the regular speed when you deselect it.
  • Each asteroid you hit is worth a point.
  • When an asteroid reaches Earth the planet is destroyed, and it is game over.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like idle clicker games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
