This is a simple logic puzzle game where players move puzzle pieces to get the knot drawings shown on the pieces to appear correctly.

  • Click on a piece you want to move to the grayed out area.
  • Continue the process until the knots are correctly displayed.
  • If you make a mistake you are allowed to move the same piece multiple times.
  • Once all pieces are in the correct location you move on to the next level.

How to Play

Move puzzle pieces around the screen to correctly complete the knot drawings..

  • Gray Area
    • Look at the pieces and try to determine the locations of the drawings to determine where pieces should go.
    • The grayed out piece can not be moved.
    • The drawing from the grayed out piece area can be used to help you figure out what the knot designs are.
    • If the puzzle seems too confusing try to figure out one color or path first and then build from there. If one color fails then start with the next color.
    • The grayed out piece can not be moved.
    • The gray area turns white when the rest of the puzzle is complete.
  • Moving Pieces
    • Tap or use your mouse to click on a piece to move.
    • Click again to choose the second piece you would like to change places with.
    • If you select a piece you did not want to move you can select it again to deselect it.
    • Pieces may be moved multiple times.
    • Repeat the process until the puzzle is complete.
    • Each color makes a completed path inside the puzzle.
  • Your progress is stored in your local browser. You can choose to continue where you left off or start a new game.

    Knots is a simple yet fun puzzle game. The object is to rearrange hexagonal puzzle pieces until they reveal the knot in full. You cannot move grayed out puzzle pieces. These static pieces serve as your starting point. Build up the pattern based on which pieces best line up to the grayed piece.

    This simple yet engaging puzzle game is easy to master. This is not a sliding puzzle. There’s no need to worry about moving the other pieces you’ve put in place once they’re there. Two clicks is all it takes to move a piece. There is enough difficulty to keep the game interesting to do at a leisurely pace.

    If you enjoy picture puzzles, you’ll find Knots highly addicting. While the first few levels are easy, it gets more complex with every level. Players can only move hexagonal pieces with white backgrounds. Hexagonal pieces with gray backgrounds cannot be moved. The goal is to figure out the knotted image. The easy level comes with two knots with different colors. Meanwhile, the harder levels come with three colored knots. There are no time limits. You can move pieces by trial and error until you find the right arrangement.

    As a tip, focus on the fixed piece. This is the gray piece that cannot be moved. Follow the figures from there, and you’ll be able to figure out the entire picture. Another cool feature in this game is the music. It’s relaxing and matches the steady mood of the game. Likewise, you can turn off the music if you don’t want to hear anything. It’s a great game you can work on without any pressure.
