How to Play

Use shapes and lines to create a path for Hogie. Help Hogie collect the banana to clear the level.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Select the speaker button on the bottom left corner to open the audio sliders.
    • Move the sliders up and down to change their volume.
    • You can control the volume levels of both the game’s music and sound effects.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    • With your mouse, left click and drag the items into the desired spot in the field.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the items with your fingers to drag them into place.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Star indicator: Shows how many stars you have left
      • Gear button: Opens the pause menu
    • Bottom row (left to right):
      • Speed selection: Choose a speed for Hogie to travel
      • Play/Pause button: Starts and stops Hogie’s walk cycle
      • Reset button: Starts the level from the beginning
      • Path item menu: Holds the items you need to finish
      • Recycling bin: Lets you remove selected items from the screen

    • Levels and stages are unlocked in sequence.
      • At the start of the game, only the first level of the first stage is unlocked.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
      • Finish all the levels in one stage to unlock the next.
    • There are 4 stages with 20 levels each.
      • Each level is themed after a specific city.
        • Bangkok, Thailand
        • Barcelona, Spain
        • Cairo, Egypt
        • Machu Pichu, Peru
      • There are 80 levels in this game.
  • Movement
    • Once you hit play, Hogie moves forward.
    • Hogie will only stop if you hit pause.
    • When Hogie reaches a wall, he will turn around.
  • Basic rules
    • Objectives
      • Help Hogie get the banana at the end of the level.
      • Pick up the star along the way.
      • Press the reset button to start the game all over again.
    • Path creation
      • Select and drag pieces from the bottom row to create the path.
      • You only have a limited number of path pieces to use.
        • The number of path pieces you have is shown on the indicator on the top left corner.
        • Once the star indicator reaches 0, you cannot add any more pieces.
        • To replenish the number of pieces you can put down, remove them from the field by dragging them to the recycling bin.
      • You can pause the game while Hogie is walking. This can give you the opportunity to create a new path by recycling the pieces you’ve previously laid down.
    • Stars and star ratings
      • Stars are an optional part of each level.
        • You do not need them to clear the level.
        • However, they are critical to earning the best possible level rating.
      • Collecting the star while using only the allotted number of pieces guarantees a 3 star rating for that level
    • Tips
      • Speed is important.
        • If you need time to create a path for Hogie, slow down his walk cycle.
        • A slower walk cycle makes it easier for you to pause the game.
      • Collect the star first.
        • Collecting the fruit automatically ends the level.
        • By picking up the star first, you all but guarantee a 3-star rating.
