How to Play

Float and merge identical fruit slices to create fruits of a larger value. Keep merging fruits for as long as you can to get the watermelon.

• Starting the Game
  • On the bottom right corner of the welcome screen are the following controls”:
    • Select Play to begin.
    • Select Help to open the game’s tutorial.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse:
      • Left click to aim.
      • Tap to release the fruit slice.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the desired area of the screen with your fingers to place a fruit slice there.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • Fruit button: Opens the fruit gallery screen
    • Current score
    • Next fruit
    • Timer
    • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sound effects on or off
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Release the fruit slices onto the play area.
      • Choose the spot you think the fruit slice should go.
      • The slices will float up to the top. Sometimes they will move toward either of the corners when floating.
    • The next fruit slice you will release appears on the top center. Pay attention to this.
      • The game picks one of the first five fruit types to release at random.
    • See if you can place identical fruits together.
    • Fruits of the same kind merge to form a new fruit.
      • Repeat the process until you form the watermelon.
      • Keep track of the fruits’ progress using the gallery screen
    • Merge as many fruits as you can until the play area is full.
      • The game doesn’t have a standard game over. It basically ends when you run out of space.
      • This game is harder than most similar games as it includes a total of 19 merges to reach the watermelon, when the original game only required 11.
  • Scoring
    • You get between 2 and 4 points for releasing fruit slices.
    • You also gain points from merging fruits.
      • The score you receive depends on the size of the fruits merged.
      • For instance, if you merge two fruits with a value of 2, you will receive 6 points:
        • 2 points for releasing the ball
        • 4 points for merging
      • You always receive the value of the merged fruit whenever you merge two fruits together.
