How to Play

Change the direction of the moving ball in the slider. Avoid black squares and intercept red squares and stars.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • On the top row are the following options:
    • On the top left corner:
      • Select the question mark button to open the game’s tutorial window.
      • Select the upgrades button to open the shop window.
    • Select the music button to turn the game’s music and sound effects on and off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high score.
    • Your high score is shown on the bottom center of the welcome screen.
    • The stars you collected appear on the top left corner of the screen.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to change the direction of the ball.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to change the direction of the ball.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (left to right):
      • Stars collected
      • Music and speaker button
      • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
    • Center
      • Score
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • The ball automatically moves from side to side in the slider. Each time it hits the edge of the slider, it changes direction.
    • Left click or tap to have the ball move in the opposite direction at once.
    • Avoid the black, smokey squares. If any of them hit, it’s game over.
    • Collect the red squares and stars.
  • Scoring
    • Earn 1 point for each of the black squares you evade. You also receive 1 point from missing a red block.
    • Earn 3 points for every red square you collect.
    • Earn 2 points for every star you collect.
  • Power ups
    • Power ups cost 25 stars to use.
    • Activate the power ups by swiping down.
      • Select and swipe on the left to activate the magnet power ups, which bring the red squares closer to the ball.
      • Select and swipe on the right to activate the shield. This protects the ball from any oncoming black square.
    • Power ups last for a brief time, as indicated on the title bar at the bottom of the slider.
    • Earn enough stars to buy upgrade either of the power ups. This increases the length of time they remain active.
      • Each power up costs 75 coins to upgrade initially
      • The cost to upgrade the power ups increases as you play the game.
      • You can upgrade a power up 10 times.
  • Ad functions
    • Our version of the game currently has ads disabled.
    • There are 2 ad-based functions in this game.
      • One doubles the value of the stars you collect.
      • Another lets you continue after a game over without losing your previous progress.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like evade and catch games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
