How to Play

Draw a path to safely drive the race car to the finish line. Avoid hitting the walls & collect as many stars as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Select the orange and white play button in the middle of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels & level star ratings.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button. Left and right of the play button are buttons for game developer information and more games.

    • Use your mouse left click button & move the mouse cursor around the screen to draw your driving path.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger & drag your finger across the screen to draw your driving path.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the game has a home button, while the upper right has buttons for restarting the level and sound control.
    • The top center of the screen shows which level number you are playing.
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked & the star rating earned on each beat level.

    • The goal of this game is to draw a path which safely gets the car to the finish line while collecting as many stars as you can.
    • In spite of the word racing in the name, the game is not timed and you can make your driving paths as long as you like.
  • Levels
    • This game has 36 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a level by safely crossing the finish line.
      • You lose a level if you run into a wall.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of any level you lost.
  • Star ratings
    • Each level has 3 stars, for a total of 108 possible stars.
    • You earn a star by driving through it & safely exiting the finish line.
    • If you earn fewer than 3 stars on a level you can replay it as many times as you like to try to earn a higher star rating, though you will need to collect all 3 stars on a single drive to earn a 3-star rating.
  • Tips
    • Stars
      • If you earn fewer than 3 stars on a stage continue playing through to the end of the game & then come back to try to improve your level ratings.
      • Even if you do not collect a star you know each star is in a safe driving location, so you can use the stars to help guide you in drawing your path around the stage.
      • If two stars are parallel to each other & are not on the same driving path you can make a loop to come back and collect the second star.
        • There is no penalty for re-using your driving path repeatedly & it is likely safe to do so in most cases.
        • If the second star is closer to a wall be sure to take a wider turn with a more gradual turn angle so your car does not have the rear end hit the adjacent wall.
    • This game is easier to play on a desktop computer with a large monitor than on a small mobile device.
      • A larger monitor gives you more granular control of movements & a larger visual margin for error with movements.
      • When you play with a mouse as your controller you can place a couple fingers on the screen to remember where the edges of some walls are, so that those guidelines can help you draw a safe path.
    • Lines and turns
      • When you know the course can be completed with straight vertical or horizontal lines try to make the lines as straight as possible (other than right around turns where you make the moves somewhat more gradual) to minimize risk of bumping into something.
      • If you know a turn would be too sharp & could risk your car crashing consider going a bit wider initially & then turning in more smoothly.
      • Be careful not to turn too sharply as the other risk beyond bumping a wall is your car can get stuck doing donuts.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like path drawing games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
