This is a logic puzzle where you must fill in a row of missing numbers in a grid. The missing numbers must flow horizontally or vertically into the next ones in sequence until the end point.

  • Use the surrounding numbers to identify the location of the missing numbers.
  • Numbers flow into each other horizontally and vertically, never diagonally.
  • Choose between 4 grids in 3 difficulty levels.

How to Play

Fill the numbers in sequential order. The pattern must follow that hinted by the surrounding numbers.

  • Starting the Game
    • Select a difficulty level on the right side of the screen to begin:
      • Easy
      • Medium
      • Hard
    • Choose a grid size:
      • 8 x 8
      • 9 x 9
      • 10 x 10
    • Select Print to create a hard copy of the day’s puzzle.
    • Select Help to learn how to play the game.
    • Choose the game’s language from the drop-down list on the top right corner of the screen:
      • English
      • Spanish
      • Dutch
      • French
      • Italian
      • German
      • Russian
      • Hindi/English
      • Polish
      • Turkish
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • Game Controls
    • Desktop
      • Using your mouse
        • Left click on a cell to select it.
        • Left click on the number pad to type in your answer.
        • Left click on the cell again to clear it.
      • Using your keyboard
        • Use the arrow keys to navigate to the cell.
        • Type in the numbers in the cells.
        • Clear the numbers using the delete or backspace keys.
    • Touchscreen devices
      • Using your fingers
        • Tap on a cell to select it.
        • Tap on the number pad to type in your answer.
        • Tap on the cell again to clear it.
    • Controls & indicators
      • The game’s indicators are located on the left side of the screen. From the top, these are as follows:
        • The game’s logo
        • The on-screen number pad
        • The present date
        • The timer
        • The first row of buttons, from left to right:
          • Pause button: Momentarily stops the game
          • Reset button: Restarts the grid from the beginning
        • The second row of buttons, from left to right:
          • Music button: Toggles the game’s music
          • Sound effects button: Toggles the game’s audio cues.
          • Enlarge button: Lets you switch between windowed and full screen modes
  • Game Play
    • Generating puzzles
      • The game generates a different puzzle for every day of the year.
      • You can choose up to 365 to 366 different puzzles for each grid size and difficulty level.
      • You can play again by doing the following:
        • Choose a different date.
        • Select Next on the winning screen to play the next day’s puzzle.
        • Choose a different grid size or difficulty level.
    • Objectives
      • Fill in the missing numbers in the field.
      • Use the given numbers as clues.
      • When finished, you should be able to draw a continuous line from the start to the finish with only 90 degree turns.
    • Rules and patterns
      • The numbers are arranged in order and move in a specific direction that follows 2 rules:
        • The next number in the sequence must be connected to the other horizontally or vertically.
        • Numbers cannot connect diagonally.
      • The given numbers will give you an idea on where the missing numbers would go.
        • Higher difficulty levels will have fewer given numbers.
    • Tips
      • Start from the ends.
        • Know where the highest number and the lowest number (1) is.
        • From there, fill in the missing digits.
      • Use the given numbers and your previous answers as context clues to find the direction of the sequence.
  • Target Audience
    • The game is suited for people of all ages who like numbers & logic puzzle games.
    • The game has no adult themed content.

    I usually have no trouble with any of the hard puzzles. However, I am stuck in the February 15 hard 10X10. If anybody has the answer please publish it as I have been working on it for many hours and have redone it from scratch several times without success. Thanks
