How to Play

Find and match the pairs of Christmas-themed cards as fast as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen are the following options:
    • Select Play to begin at the most recent level you’ve unlocked.
    • Select Levels to choose a difficulty level.
    • Select Settings to turn the game’s sounds on and off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on a card to select it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on a card with your fingers to select it.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top left corner (top-down):
      • Timer
      • Score
    • Top right corner (top-down):
      • X button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Question mark button: Opens the game’s help text.
• Game Play
  • Difficulty
    • You can choose the game’s difficulty level from the levels option on the welcome screen.
    • Choose from one of three difficulties:
      • Easy (4 cards)
      • Medium (16 cards)
      • Hard (36 cards)
    • Choosing a difficulty level automatically loads a game of that difficulty.
  • Basic rules
    • The rules are similar to most card-based memory games.
      • Choose one card to put it face up. Repeat the process on another card.
        • If they are the same, they are remove.
        • Otherwise, they return to their original face down positions.
      • Remember the identities of the cards that don’t match.
      • Match all the card pairs until all the cards are gone.
    • The cards are themed after Christmastime decorations.
    • The timer is there for decoration and does not actually flash the amount of time it took for you to finish.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points based on the number of pairs you cleared.
    • Each pair is worth 50 points.
    • Your high score depends on the difficulty level you played.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who celebrate Christmas and like memory card games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
