How to Play

Clear rows of 3 or more identical cakes to clear them from the grid. Fulfill orders by clearing the rows of cakes demanded by customers on time.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
    • Your high score is shown below the play button on the welcome screen.

    • With your mouse, left click to select.

    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to select.

    • Back button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen

  • Basic rules
    • Forming rows
      • Select a cake, then select another adjacent to it to have them switch places.
        • If one of the cakes you move become part of a row of 3 or more identical cakes, they will be removed from the grid.
        • If they do not, the cakes will switch back.
      • Any line of identical cakes that form when the game loads, as well as new ones that form in the wake of removing one row, will also be cleared.
      • Keep clearing as many as you can to earn points.
    • Fulfilling orders
      • Your orders appear just above the grid.
        • Each customer appears with a cake they want.
        • The balloon containing their order also contains a green circle that acts as a timer.
        • To fulfill the order, you must clear a row of those cakes.
      • Fulfill the order before the timer runs out.
  • Lives
    • You start the game with 3 lives as depicted by hearts on the top right corner of the screen.
    • Each time you fail to fulfill an order, you lose a life.
    • This is a lot harder to prevent than it seems. You cannot form new rows until the game stops clearing the rows that form after you clear one row manually. The customer’s timer may expire before you can clear a row of the cake they want.
    • Lose all your lives and the game ends.
