Air War 2: 1941 Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Use the arrow keys on your keyboard or the joystick at the bottom of the screen.

  • Scroll left and right to shoot down enemy aircraft while collecting items.
    • Your plane automatically shoots and always shoots straight.
    • If you hit another plane it takes a lot of your health and there is a good chance your game will end.
    • You can also move forward or backward in the screen. Generally it is a good strategy to stay in the middle and only move forward to pick up items when no other airplanes are in the screen and only move back to pick up items you may have missed.
  • Staying Alive
    • The game is an endless scrolling game. It only ends when you run out of fuel or your ship has zero health.
    • Your fuel bar is shown on the left side of the screen. Picking up gas containers refuels your plane.
    • Your airplane mechanical health is shown on the right side of the screen. Running into hearts restores your health..
  • If you die you start at the beginning of the game. Your most recent game score and your high score are shown on the game’s welcome screen.

    Air Wars is an endless shooting game that puts you into the skies of World War II. To score, you must mow down as many enemy planes as you can. Your limits include both your aircraft’s health and the amount of fuel it has left. As long as you keep your health up and refuel, you can take to the skies.

    Shooting is constant, so there’s no need to actively fire at enemies. If you collide with an enemy airplane, however, it’s game over. You have no extra lives. The game bases your high score on how many enemies you brought down in a single session.

    Air War 2 1941 is an exciting endless shooting game. The goal is to shoot enemy planes that you encounter along the course. Using the the arrow keys, you can move left and right, as well as forward or backward. Don’t worry about firing shots. Your aircraft automatically fires consecutively. It had vivid graphics but don’t get too distracted. What makes the game tricky is the pace and the course.

    Expect fighter jets to come straight at you. Be careful not to bump them or it might be game over. Better yet, make sure to fire within range of enemy planes. The game is extra tricky because you need to collect lives (hearts), fuel, and ammo to keep your plane alive. You must balance your aircraft’s health throughout the game. The game ends once you bump an enemy or your plane’s health has dropped too low. It’s a fun and relaxing shooting game that can get anyone hooked.
