How to Play

As a pirate, collect treasure and avoid the obstacles and enemies that would send you to the briny depths.

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select New Game to begin.
    • Select Help to open the game’s instructions.
    • Select Credits to view the game’s developer information.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard, press the left and right arrows to move the pirate to another lane.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the left and right sides of the screen with your fingers to move the pirate.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row (top-down):
      • Score
      • Remaining lives
    • Bottom row (left to right):
      • Information button: Opens the game’s instructions
      • Home button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sound effects on or off
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • As a pirate, move from one of the five lanes to collect as many gold coins as you can.
    • Avoid both enemies and obstacles.
      • Enemies run toward you from a distance while obstacles mostly stay in one place.
      • Avoid them by switching lanes.
    • Keep running and collecting treasure for as long as you can.
  • Lives
    • You begin each session with 3 lives, shown on the top row on the level selection screen.
    • Each time you get hit by an enemy or hit an obstacle, you lose a life.
    • Lose all your lives and it’s game over.
  • Scoring
    • Each gold coin you collect is worth 100 points.
    • You can view your best score on the game over screen.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for players who like pirates or endless running games.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
