How to Play

As a robot, shoot or jump over down any enemy or obstacle in your path. Keep running for as long as you can.

• Starting the Game
  • Select Play on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Start Game at the center of the screen to begin.
    • Select Fullscreen on the bottom center to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • On the bottom right corner of the welcome screen are the following controls (from left to right):
    • Select the speaker button to turn the game’s sounds on and off
    • Select the music button to turn the game’s music on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and best score.
    • Your latest and best scores are shown on the bottom center of the welcome screen.

    • With your keyboard:
      • Press the up arrow to jump.
      • Press the space bar to shoot.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers:
      • Tap on the jump button to jump.
      • Tap on the shoot button to shoot.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Setup
      • Select the play button on the bottom center of the help screen to get started.
      • On the game screen, press any key or tap anywhere onscreen to start moving.
      • From there, the robot automatically runs forward.
    • General
      • Jump or double jump over enemies or stationary hazards.
      • Collect as many vials and chips as you can.
      • Once the game ends, select the hamburger button to return to the welcome screen.
    • Shooting
      • Shoot at the enemies as they appear.
        • A health bar appears over enemies you can shoot. When this is empty, they die.
        • You must be aligned with the enemy to make sure your shots hit.
        • If the enemy is too close or too difficult to target, it’s often better to jump over them.
      • You only have a limited amount of ammo. Use it wisely.
      • Replenish your ammo by collecting ammo boxes.
    • Shields
      • Collect the spark to equip the shield.
      • The shield will protect you from foes and allow you to stomp on them.
  • Lives
    • You begin the game with 3 lives.
      • Each time you hit an enemy or hazard, you lose a life.
      • Lose all your lives and the game ends.
    • You can replenish your lives by collecting repair kits.
  • Scoring
    • Every vial you collect is worth 10 points.
    • Every chip you collect is worth 500 points.
    • Shooting at enemies gives you several points, depending on how many times you hit them.
      • The tougher and larger the enemy, the more points you receive.
      • You only receive the points when the enemy falls.
      • The score values you get range from 40 to 90 points.
    • Your game saves both your best and most recent scores.
