How to Play
Shoot the aliens while avoiding their bullets.
- Avoid getting hit
- Use the bases to block enemy shots or avoid their shots by scrolling left or right.
- Move your ship side to side using your arrow keys or using the buttons on the lower left portion of the screen.
- Kill enemy ships
- Tap your spacebar or on the button in the lower right corner of the game to repeatedly shoot the alien ships.
- Various alien aircraft take different shot amounts to destroy.
- Level design
- Each level has its own pattern of movement.
- Some ships move side to side while others also come forward to you each time they hit the edge of the screen.
- Deaths & power ups
- You begin the game with 3 lives.
- Each time a bullet hits your ship you lose a life.
- The power meter decreases toward zero as time passes. Shooting bullets uses additional power.
- If the power meter at the top center of the screen goes to zero you also die.
- The fast moving ship which periodically moves across the top of the screen drops a heart container which gives you another life. If you already have 3 lives then you do not get a fourth life, though it also boosts your power.
- If the game ends and you play again you start at the beginning.
